AN: i am so sorry about what happened to this chapter before. hopefully it hasn't happened this time around.

It's now been a month and there was still no change. Takuya's mother let him have a few days off school to begin with but he had to go back sooner or later and to her surprise he didn't complain but to her dismay he was still in the state she had found him a few days before hand.

During school when classes were on, he would just stare out the window. When breaks came around, he would walk to where his next class was, sit down and stare out the window just like he had done in his other class. His mum had arranged for him to see the school councillor but even then he would just sit there staring out the window, not saying a word.

Koji, Koichi, J.P, Tommy and Zoe had visited him several times after Shinya had called Zoe a week after Yuriko found her broken son, explaining what had happened to his brother the best he could, hoping that they could do something. Even though he sometimes hated his older brother, Shinya still loved him and was becoming concerned for Takuya. Though they still visited, the group longer talked. After what happened last time they visited, they though best not to.

Last time Koji had said that they all missed their spirits, which was true, but then added that they knew the pain he was going through. Takuya had shot his head up so fast that he had surprised everyone in the room but what shocked them the most was the menacing death glare he had shot at Koji that seemed to say 'You don't know the pain I'm going through, you bastard!' After a few seconds Takuya place his head back on his knees and continued to stare out the window. That was the first and last time Takuya made eye contact with anyone.

During that one month time period Takuya didn't talk to anyone, he hardly ate, and if he wasn't at school he was up in his room staring out the window from either his desk or from his bed. Takuya had lost a good amount of weight to the point he looked skinny. His skin looked pale from the lack of sunshine and he had dark bags under his eyes from very little sleep.

Takuya was currently up in his room sitting in his desk chair, staring out the window like always.

It was late in the after noon and the sun would set in couple of hours, its rays bathing the room in golden glow. And it would have been a peaceful night too. Takuya, for reasons unknown to him, looked to the mirror on the back of his closed door, regretting it as the moment he did.

The ghostly figure from his dreams stood there, smiling sadly at him. Tears welled up in the corners of Takuya's eyes.

"Please... Come back. I need you." Takuya pleaded, voice hoars from the lack of use.

The figure shook his head as if saying 'You don't need me.'

"But... I... I do need you." Takuya got up and reached out to the figure. "C-Can't you see..."

Again the figure shook his head in the 'You don't need me' manner and began to fade.

"No...please don't-" But by the time Takuya had taken his first step towards the mirror, the figure was already gone.

That was it, he couldn't take this...this torture any more. Takuya screamed, screamed his heart out before the blackness of unconscious took him. Yuriko ran into his room and managed to catch him before he hit the floor. Hioraki, Takuya's dad, came rushing in and saw the scene. He ran to the phone and called an ambulance.

Koji, Koichi, J.P, Tommy and Zoe were all walking along the footpath, chatting amongst themselves as they made their way to Takuya's home. They were a block away when Tommy spoke.

"I hope Takuya's better."

But before anything else could be said, an ambulance drove by with it's lights flashing and sirens blazing, and turned the corner one block up. The group stared for a moment before they all sprinted off down in the same direction. What they saw when they turned the corner made them gasp. Takuya was a on bed and was being wheeled into the back of the ambulance, his mother and brother hopping in after him. They sprinted up to the Kanbara house holed and they were spotted by Haorki.

"You lot came to visit Takuya, didn't you?" he asked.

"Yes, Mr. Kanbara." Zoe replied, giving a polite bow.

Haorki sighed. "Get in." he said pointing to their van.

They all scrambled into the van and got buckled in before Haorki drove off after the ambulance. On the way to the hospital Haorki explained to the best of his ability exactly what happened to his eldest son. The other five Digi-destined Warriors were more then concerned.

An hour later found the rest of the Kanbara family and the Digi-Destined waiting outside Takuya's room at the hospital. The sound of the door opening and closing put their attention on the doctor who had just exited the Warrior of Flame's room. The doctor looked to the two adults.

"I'm sorry but...your son's in a coma." Announced the doctor.
