Yay! Another song fic! This song is called KID from the movie 'Mr. Peabody and Sherman'. Enjoy!

KID

Peabody turned the radio on. This was certainly a good song. It remind him of his father-son relationship he had with Sherman. But it also made him wonder how was their future going to be.

I remember how I used to drift around a day
But then you burst into my life and everything changed
You are the smallest and the greatest thing I ever knew
But at this age I act twice my age and tell me what to do

He remembered when Sherman was smaller. He used to take him to the park and Peabody would teach him how to play baseball. He was once a Yankee player once. As the catcher.

And Heeey, don't you notice me?
Cause I am noticing you, around here
Oh, kid come on
I am right here, so come on
The things that I do
Well, they ain't no fun without you

Well, things weren't fun when Sherman was not around. When he was at school, he felt alone in that ginormous penthouse. He did not wanted to be alone. Nobody will. He tried to spend his time inventing or reading, but that was never enough to fill his loneliness.

You are laughing, you are crying
You don't play fair
If you do something good I'll clap
If I do, you don't care

Certainly, kids don't care what their parents face while raising them. They are kids. That's what they have to worry about. Having fun and living their lives.

Oh, I am lousing, but I am doing the best that I can do
So, unless you get me how to box some just as long as you

And Heeey, don't you notice me?
Cause I am noticing you, around here
Oh, come on, hey kid, come on.
I am right here, so come on
The things that I do
Well, they ain't no fun without you

He remembered when Sherman was very young. He had taken him in the WABAC to meet Mozart. The three of them played the piano together. Well, Sherman played with his hands over Mr. Peabody's paws.

Oh, like a piano I will handle you, with such care
I will play the boogie-woogie like it's '94 and fight as if we were there
Oh, and the years will fly past us like a subway train
But until that day, when I am old and gray
Let's rock those years away

Singing Tum-taram Tum-taram Tum-taram-taram
Tum-taram Tum-taram

As Mr. Peabody moved his body to the rhythm of the song, Sherman walked in that same instant. It was amusing to see your dad dancing while you take out your cellphone and record him.

Oh, come on!
Hey now, kid come on!
What did you do, right here?
Hey kid, come on!
The things that I do
Well, they ain't no fun without you
No, they ain't no fun without you, no!

"Mr. Peabody?" Sherman tried so hard not to laugh. Mr. Peabody lowered his tail and looked back at Sherman.

"Sherman! How… How much did you saw?"

"Enough to take a picture of you." And the boy ran away with his cellphone.

"Sherman! Come back here or there won't be any desert for tonight!"

I know, a songfic. It has been long since I wrote one. And if there's too much space between the last three sentences, sorry about that. My computer wouldn't allow it, I don't why. Review!
