I know that this chapter is certainly long overdue and expected. I'm sorry for not updating, but I'm going to be sure to finish this.

Expect a new chapter every other week- I'll begin working on this story while working on another one. So, a new chapter will be posted the week after next.

This chapter is rather short, but I promise the next will be much longer. This chapter is light and funny, so will the next chapter before I jump into anything serious.

Please enjoy.

~Clary~

"Clarissa, you've got to get up."

I have to find the strength to open my eyes. I peek from beneath the covers reluctantly to see my father standing over me. I just groan, rolling over and wrapping the blankets around me.

"Dad! Give me ten more minuets!" I say, pulling my pillow over my head. "It's a Saturday."

For a single, sweet moment, I think he's gone. But instead of him actually leaving me alone, I feel him grab the blankets and he pulls them, taking away my only source of warmth. "Come on, Dad! It's not that late! Let me sleep!""

"It's seven o' clock," Dad replies. He's an early riser- sleeping in past six is like waking up at noon to him. "Besides, we have plenty of festivities planned for you and your friends. Get dressed...or you can lay here while Jocelyn and I take the Lightwoods out for breakfast at Taki's."

I lift my head up. "Taki's, you say?" Taki's is my all time favorite restaurant- they have everything you could think of. Their breakfast is freaking spectacular- their coconut pancakes happen to be my favorite. "And I can order whatever I want?"

"I assumed that you want coconut pancakes...but if you want to stay in bed…"

I roll out of bed, unceremoniously dumping myself in the floor. "Okay! I'm up! I'm up!"

Dad is laughing at me, his dark eyes twinkling. "Your eagerness for food is a little bothersome. Anyways, I woke you up early in hopes of you girls actually getting ready on time."

I lift an eyebrow. "Us girls? By that, I hope you mean Isabelle."

Dad chuckles and I walk to him, wrapping my arms tightly around my father. "I missed you, Dad. I'm glad you came back for a bit." I've never been away from my parents for more than a few days at a time. But three months? I haven't been away for that long.

"I missed you, too, sweetheart," Dad says softly. He kisses my forehead and then pulls back, looking over my face. My cheek aches dully from Raphael's hit and I still have a throbbing headache. "I'll make that boy pay, Clary. He won't know what hit him- literally."

I roll my eyes. "Alec did enough."

"Enough isn't good enough," Dad says. "Why don't you get ready. When you come downstairs, let's ice your eye and give you some painkillers. Both will take the swelling down."

I nod and Dad squeezes my shoulders. "My girl- as tough as nails. You make me proud, Clarissa." I beam at him and he leaves to let me get ready. I grab my clothes and head to the bathroom in hopes no one is in the good one. I will not take a shower in the one that continuously runs cold water.

My wish isn't granted when I see Alec and Max standing. They're shirtless and have bath towels slung over their shoulders.

"Isabelle! Hurry up!" Alec bellows. He beats on the door, narrowing his swollen eyes from his fight with Raphael. "You've been in there for too long!"

"I'm doing my hair!" Isabelle shouts.

"Then do it in your room! I want to hurry and go!" Max says back hatefully.

I sigh heavily. "How long has she been in there?"

"An hour and a half," Alec says mournfully. I walk up to him, wrapping my arms around his waist. He hugs me back, kissing my head. "How do you feel?"

"Besides a killer headache and I can barely open my eye... I feel fantastic," I say, smiling at my boyfriend. Alec glowers and I smile sweetly. "What about you, Ally?"

"I feel like someone took a sledgehammer to my face," Alec says. The two of us separate and his blue eyes come ablaze with anger as he launches himself at the door at the sound of the hair dryer.

"Isabelle, I am standing out here half naked and freezing. Get your ass out of the bathroom!"

"You can wait! I still have to do my hair and makeup!"

Max, Alec, and I groan loudly. I want to hurry and shower- I'm particularly excited for those coconut pancakes at Taki's.

Max tugs on my sweater. "Is there any way we can get her out?"

I huff, looking at the door. I smile evilly, looking at my two boys. Alec grins; Max soon adopts the same expression. "What's going on inside that head of yours, Clarissa?"

"Either of you boys have a wire hanger? We're dragging her ass out of there."

Max's eyes twinkle. "I do! C'mon, lets go!" He takes my hand, pulling me to his bedroom. He shows me his closet and I smile at the sight of the wire hanger. I grab it, casting aside the shirt hanging on it.

"What're you going to do with it, Clary?" Max asks curiously.

"You stick this part into the doorknob and you can open it," I say as I shape the hanger to pick the lock. "Don't you tell your parents who taught you this. Got that, Maxy?"

"Understood," Max says, saluting me.

We walk back to where Alec stands. His eyes narrow. "How can you open the door with that?"

"Just watch. It's a trick Jon taught me when we were little," I reply, inserting the wire hanger into the knob. I jiggle the hanger for a few minutes when I hear a satisfying click and I smile, looking at Alec. "The bathroom is ours to use."

Alec kisses me deeply and I laugh against his lips. "You are the best girlfriend ever." We pull apart and Alec throws the door open and Isabelle screeches like a banshee.

"Get out, Alec!"

Alec has Isabelle around the waist. "I'm not waiting for you to doll yourself up. Go get ready in your room!" Alec finally gets Isabelle out of the bathroom and Max scurries inside, locking the door behind him with an evil laugh.

I definitely love both of my boys.
