"Elsa?" Anna knocked on her sisters door. "Are you in there? If you are please, come out. I just want to talk."

Elsa cracked her door open, then opened it all the way and slowly walked out into the open hallway.

"Elsa?!" Anna said shockingly. "W-what happened to your hair? Did you dye it?"

"No." She said. "I got rid of my powers."

"What?!" Anna said.

"Elsa..how could you?" A voice said from downstairs.

"M-mom?" Both of the sisters said. "What are you doing home?"

"The school called and-" She was cut off by Elsa running into her room and locking the door.

"Elsa!" Anna yelled through her door.

"I'm sorry mom and Anna for my carelessness." She started crying from behind the door. "I caused this family to have so much grief, I had to get rid of them. It was the only way, it was either that or move. And I'm tired of moving! Every single bad thing that happened in our lives was because of me! I hated my powers! I've always hated them." She got quiet.

"Elsa." The mother said sweetly. "Your powers are a gift."
"I don't care, they're gone now and I hope maybe finally I'll get the normal life I've always wanted."

"Elsa..Could you please tell me why you hated them so much? Please, you're the first one in our family to not like your powers."

Anna looked confused. "Mom...what? There are other people in our family that had powers?"

"Yes." Their mother revealed. "It's not unusual for Elsa to have powers, ice powers. Your father never known about this, I was going to tell him, but I didn't know how. I'm surprised I kept it a secret for so long."

Elsa came out her room. "He is the exact reason as to why I hate them." She said.

Anna was standing there still trying to process what was just said.

"But why sweetie?" Their mother asked. "He loved you and Anna."

"No! He didn't. After I told him I had powers, he completely shut us out his life! All those mean things he said to me...and you," She teared up. "his final words before he left. Anna was too young to remember this, but mom I know for a fact you do! Since you wouldn't run away with him and leave me behind, he left us. I guess that's his so called punishment for us."

"Elsa-" the mother tried to speak.

"He called me a monster...an abomination. When Hans said those same exact words to me in the lunchroom today. All those memories came rushing back. Do you know how bad those words had hurt me? I began to start thinking it was true because when people saw my powers….they treated me like I was a freak. I am mentally scarred because of him."

"Mom, is what Elsa saying is true? Did he really leave us because of Elsa's powers?"

"Yes sweetie." Their mother said fighting back the tears. "He wanted to take you with him and run away, but I wouldn't let him. I wanted to keep my girls together."

Everybody who has powers was born here in Arendelle, if you weren't born here then somebody in your family was. The words echoed in Elsa's mind. "Mom, we weren't born here right?"

"You were born here, both of you. But we moved immediately after you was born. Your father and I wanted to see the world."

"Then...Then how come you don't have powers mom?" Anna asked.

"Because the powers are given to the firstborn of every generation, my sister has them. And so does your grandmother's sister." She said sadly. "I've always wanted them, but I'm not a first born."
