An Update

If you are reading this, you have either stumbled upon my mess of a work, or have been here from the beginning. Either way, I appreciate and love you all equally. Life had been an emotional and financial roller coaster over the last 5 years, and finding the time, energy, and drive to write had all but faded away. As of right now, I have five unfinished stories. Three Harry Potter, one Hp/Borderlands crossover, and one Halo based. Each has a place in my heart, and if you enjoyed what you read, it makes me even happier.

However, each of these had a time and place in my life. The two most current stories were last updated in 2014. I, as a person, author, and reader, have changed dramatically since then. Looking back at my stories, I see what parts of the tales I enjoyed, and enjoy the premise, but I have no idea where they were going, and how I was getting there. The only exceptions were S&M, due to it being the more recent story, and When All Fails, because I had hand written a few more chapters than I had posted. But I still do not recall how I planned on it ending.

So what to do? Do I wipe the slate clean, start from scratch, and try something new, or jump back in, and try to finish something that was started with a different frame of mind? Do I simply give up?

No. It isn't fair to you, my wonderful readers, nor to myself, to leave this cloud hanging over me. I have continued to read fan fiction to this day, and I thank it for getting me through some of the toughest times in my life. I also thank it for bringing me a great love, and now a friendship that I will cherish forever. All from fan fiction. The stories shared in this place are powerful, entertaining, and a valuable escape from the troubled world we live in. And you all have given so much to me, how can I deny that to you, simply because it's difficult?

So, what's the plan? Unfortunately , I can't please everyone, and some sacrifices will have to be made. So here is my plan.

'Third Side', 'When All Fails', and 'The Eridium Blight' will unfortunately be cancelled.

'Mahalath' and 'S&M' will both be shelved, with the purpose of combining them to make a more cohesive story, with less confusing cross over, and a better plot line. As much as it pains me to admit, 'Mahalath' was written with all the spicy lemons in mind first, plot second. Flames will be accepted, as they are deserved.

I have started to work on my new story, but have yet to decide if it will be a completely new, or continuation of 'S&M'. Stay tuned for the update. I hope to have a good chunk of chapters done in the next month or so, with the ENTIRE plot outlined beforehand. This is going to happen. I solemnly swear.
