"I'll see you later, Kyo-chan," I contently said as I closed the door to the rooftop. I knew I shouldn't be up here while school was in succession, but who didn't need a break from school? Besides, I couldn't just ignore the scenery from up here. The sky was painted a pastel blue color with white puffs dotting it randomly; I didn't mind that I couldn't see the sun—it was way too bothersome.

I made my way towards the latter of a secluded section of the rooftop of the school. Climbing up, I didn't notice the person sleeping until I accidentally stepped on him, yet I did have a good idea of who it was. "Itai!" He shouted in pain, simultaneously pushing my leg off of his body.

Consequently, my frail body collided with hard ground. "Oof," I sounded as my hand made it's way towards my rib cage. "Sheesh, Aomine-kun, did you have to push me?" I grunted.

"Did you have to step on me?" The bluette came back with a harsh glare.

"It's not like I meant to," I snapped. "I should've done it on purpose if I knew you were going to act that way."

"Why're you up here anyway?" Aomine said as he fixed his position, his arms were resting behind his head and his deep blue eyes were staring out at the sky. "Shouldn't you be in class? Don't want to keep your classwork waiting, do you?"

I smirked as I copied his position. "There's a difference between the two of us: I skip class and complete my work whilst you just skip class with no thought of doing your work. And as for why I'm up here," I said pursing my lips, "teacher was ranting off on a student and started an entire speech of how we're going to get nowhere in life with the way we're acting. Nobody wants to hear that."

Aomine responded with a snort. "So, why're you up here?" I ask him, but then I shake my head. "No, don't answer that. It'd be weird if you weren't up here. You're planning to stay up here all day, huh?"

"Hm? Of course," he responded gruffly like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"You're even going to skip basketball practice?" I ask, only for him to shrug; I knew it was a yes, though. I sighed and closed my eyes. "That's the fifth time in a row, Aomine-kun… I'm surprised Wakamatsu hasn't killed you yet."

The lazy first year snorted, "As if he could."

I shrugged in return, "Maybe he could. You never know. See, what if he was secretly training to kick your ass, then what?" I smirked.

"The only one who can beat me is me," Aomine said, closing his eyes as I reopened my own auburn ones, "so you let me know when there's another me in the world so I can kick his ass too."

My chest began to rumble as I laughed. I crawled over to the ace of Too's basketball team. Effortlessly, I rested my head down on said ace's chest, simultaneously closing my eyes. "O-Oi, what're you doing, idiot?"

"Sleeping, obviously. Now quit talking… I gotta dream about how I'm gonna finish my work in time," I quickly made an excuse.

"I-Idiot." I couldn't see him, but I knew his usually brown cheeks were dusted a rosy pink color.
