I'M ALIVE! Feel free to reread the first chapter if it's been too long to remember what happened. Thanks for the reviews, favorites, and follows! Here's the way overdue second chapter. Note: I don't own any of the characters.

Karma walked out the door just in time to see pale blue locks whip around a corner. With a mischievous grin to match the gleam in his eyes, he followed him until the teacher slipped into the chairman's office. He stopped and waited behind another corner for Nagisa to come out. Eventually, he did leave to walk back in the direction of the classroom, towards the corner where Karma was hiding. It just so happened that that corner was near a restroom, so the moment Nagisa went around the corner, Karma pulled him in.

Nagisa found his back pinned to the wall, next to a stall, in another admittedly cliché position for the second time that day.

"Hey, Shiota-sensei," murmured a voice from above him.

He found himself mentally cursing his height while being sandwiched between the wall and the chest of a surprisingly tall high school student. From that position, he could feel his student's chin on top of his head and a slight ruffling of his hair each time the mentioned student breathed. He could also smell cinammon coming from the messily buttoned dress shirt in front of him.

"Could it be that you're actually a virgin?" Karma continued, one hand holding onto Nagisa's shoulder to keep him in place and another slowly stroking him, from the other shoulder down his bare arm. "What a surprise, considering how soft and smooth your skin is… Just like a girl."

Nagisa shuddered at the touch. Suddenly, Karma felt him just freeze completely.

"Please don't touch me," Nagisa mumbled.

"What was that?"

"Please. Don't. Touch. Me."

With the last word, Nagisa shoved Karma away with surprising force. Karma fell to the floor and winced. It had hurt a lot more than what he would've expected from the smaller male. He looked up and for once, he felt as if… he could die at any moment. Nagisa didn't look very different from usual, but something, despite the seemingly gentle smile, or maybe it was because of that smile, in his light blue eyes, made Karma picture a lethal snake advancing on him.

"Shiota-sensei?" Karma said, uncertainty in his voice.

Nagisa blinked, making the illusion of the snake disappear, and then looked down at the student on the ground.

"Akebane-kun!" he gasped, startled. "Are you okay?'

Nagisa offered a hand to help him up. Even though he was most likely back to normal, Karma still hesitated before taking it. Nagisa pulled him up, again with surprising force that someone of his stature wouldn't normally have. Karma nodded absent mindedly, too deep in his thoughts about what he had just experienced to notice Nagisa's cheerful smile and statement of something among the lines of "I'm glad you're okay."

He walked back to the classroom with the teacher, not paying attention. When he was back in his seat, he quickly zoned out, deep in thought.

When Karma "tripped" and pushed him down, Nagisa tried to stop him while dodging the heavy textbook and sharp pencil, but when he put both hands to steady the redhead, he didn't think that Karma would try to stab him with the pencil. Just in time, he pushed Karma's shoulder just enough to get the pencil away from him, but that meant that he wasn't braced to catch him. As a result, Karma had pinned down Nagisa and made him blush and made his heart beat fast and-

For a moment, Nagisa remembered being pinned against the floor of a different classroom with an upperclassman, not a student, on top of him. He remembered red hair next to his head and soft, breathy moans of his name-

He snapped out of it when the teacher next door, Irina-sensei as called by the students, walked in. He pushed off his student and took the time to ask if he was alright before rushing out. In the hallway, he reached out and caught the sleeve of the busty blonde that he had known for a while.

"Irina-sensei, please don't-"

"I've kept on telling you to call me Jelavic-oneesama, haven't I?" she cut him off and walked ahead. He followed her, letting his hand fall away from the fabric.

"We're at school," he protested. She pouted slightly but didn't insist. "Anyways, please don't tell the chairman or anyone, really."

"Especially not our mentor?" Nagisa froze, but she laughed. "I won't tell anyone; don't worry."

"Thank you," he said with a small smile of relief and continued down the hall.

"Oh yeah, there's a class reunion next month. Just thought I should let you know because that guy might be there. Let's go for lunch some time this week too!"

And with that, she walked away, leaving Nagisa at the door of the chairman's office.

"Ah, Shiota-sensei," the chairman called out the moment he walked in. Gesturing towards the comfy chair across from him, he added, "Please, have a seat."

Nagisa gave a short "thank you" and sat down. He stared at the chairman for a few solid seconds of silence, wondering what he had been called for. The chairman stared back into his eyes unblinkingly, and then suddenly laughed.

"Sorry, I don't mean to have you all tense. I just wanted to ask, how have you found your position as a teacher here so far?"

With a slightly startled expression, he replied, "The students aren't too bad and the other teachers have been helpful."

"That's good, that's good."

"Is that all?"

"Yes. You should go now, break is ending."

Nagisa nodded and stood up to give a bow before leaving. It didn't really matter that break was ending; he didn't have a class to teach for the following period. He spent the hour in the staff room, pretending to look over the students' work as his mind wandered along the same direction as his red-haired student.

Pressed against a wall. Hands pushing long blue hair behind a shoulder so there's room to press lips and teeth against bare flesh. Wet sounds and soft moans in a classroom as the sun sets. Red hair pressed against a face in one imagination and blonde hair pressed against a face in one memory. They don't get to go very far because oh hey that's the sound of the bell ringing.

Karma thought about it. He still had physical education and history left in the day after the lunch break and no extracurricular activities. Nothing that he really cared to do. With a grin to himself, he stuffed a couple of textbooks into his bag and swung it over his shoulder.

"Leaving already?" a classmate called out to him.

"Yep," Karma replied, leaving the classroom.

None of the students would stop him. They all knew better than to associate themselves with him, the guy with a streak of violence marring his otherwise exceptional academic record. He knew they feared him. If not for his family and his violence, he mused, they'd probably ask him to go to the arcade or to study together (also known as free tutoring from the valedictorian of their year). It didn't matter to him anyways. Karma had found an interesting toy and he wanted to go home to prepare new ways to play with it.

With a running start, he jumped onto the school fence, foot hooked onto one of the horizontal bars. His arms hoisted himself over the top and he let his body down on the other side.

"AKABANE! STOP!"

He laughed as he strolled away, the teacher too slow and too caught up in opening the gate like a normal person to even think of having a chance of stopping him-

Next thing he knew, Nagisa had a hand reaching up for his collar to hold him back. Startled, Karma flinched and quickly turned around to execute a round house kick that was dodged anyways, but he managed to shake off the hand on his collar. Once again, there was that image of a snake, and he turned and ran. Nagisa tried to chase him but as quick as his reflexes were, there was no denying that Karma's longer legs put him at an advantage.

The teacher was only now catching up and she was still out of breath. She took a few big ones and then started rambling.

"How'd you do that? Never have I seen a teacher who could make scaling the fence look even easier than the students do or who could come so close to that Akabane. It's like you stepped out of a manga! As expected, younger teachers like you are really something else. Maybe I should ask the chairman to hire more, then students wouldn't try to cut classes as much."

"Fuwa-sensei, please remember to breathe." In the pause from her catching her breath properly, Nagisa continued, "He's my student so it's my responsibility to make sure he stays in school. Next time you see him try something, could you let me know?"

She nodded. They walked the short distance back to school in silence. And the chapter ended. So did the story.

I'm debating a bit over dropping this story because while I do have plans and would like to see them in the story, how many years did it take me just to get up the second chapter? I had most of this chapter written but it took me half a year to actually finish. If you, as the readers, don't mind my ridiculously sparse updates, I guess I won't drop this but I thought I'd just put that out there. NYOOM to Tsunyan for checking for grammar and spelling errors.
