I do not own Harry Potter.
Lily stood and moved to where Harry was standing. She gazed at him for a long time, finally running her hand along his cheek. "I knew… I knew there was something about you… some connection I couldn't explain."
He smiled sadly at her but said nothing.
"Will you tell me why you've come here? Why now? Why this specific time?"
Harry sighed and looked away, not wanting to lie to her but not sure he could really tell her anything.
"I think we need to talk about scheduling those house meetings," said Daphne, knowing Harry couldn't really tell his Mum anything right now.
"I think she's right, Harry. We've got to use our status to protect us… all of us," added Draco, looking at Lily.
"Fine. Let's do them together… My houses and yours at the same time. We're all on the same side, they just don't know it yet." He looked back to Lily and said, "I wish I could tell you everything. I really do but I can't. Not yet. I can tell you that I lost someone I was very close to a few months ago. I missed them so much that I think the ritual we did brought us back in time, brought me here, so I could see them again. But, I have no idea why we came so far back…"
"I do," said Luna simply.
Harry smiled and several people chuckled, however, they were interrupted by a knock on their door. Blaise looked around and said, "Lily, Sirius, James, you should get dressed. My guess is that is the Headmaster and he's going to be surprised to find you in sleep clothes." The three of them scrambled into the rooms they had stayed in to hurry up and get dressed.
"Hold on a second," yelled Blaise so that whoever was at the door would know they were heard. A minute later Sirius and James rushed back into the living room. Daphne motioned Blaise to get the door while she headed into the room with Lily and shut the door behind her. Satisfied Blaise opened the suite door and greeted, "Hello."
"Hello Mr. Peverell. May I imposition you and ask to speak with the group of you for a few moments?"
"Of course, Sir. It's not an imposition at all. Come on in," said Blaise, opening the door wide to let Professor Dumbledore in. He entered the suite and turned the corner, surprised to see James and Sirius there as well. "Mr. Black, Mr. Potter, what a pleasant surprise."
"Professor," they both replied, nodding their heads.
"Please Sir, make yourself comfortable," said Hermione motioning him to an open chair.
"Thank you dear," he said, sitting down across from the group.
"What brings you by Albus?" said Harry, doing away with pleasantries.
"Harry!" chastised Hermione, scandalized.
Harry didn't acknowledge her, keeping eye contact with Albus. He could tell Albus was trying to read his thoughts, but his house rings prevented anyone from doing that to him anymore.
"That's not going to work on me," said Harry, waving his hand to remind Albus of his multiple house rings.
Blaise and Draco frowned, not liking the fact that Dumbledore was trying to read Harry's thoughts.
"I apologize, Harry, it's a terrible habit. I do it without thinking," replied Albus.
Harry nodded and waited.
"I noticed you were missing from breakfast."
Harry raised his eyebrow, waiting for more.
"I was informed of some terrible news. Overnight two students were killed and a third was shaken up badly. They were found in Hogsmeade this morning."
"I'm sorry to hear that."
"Of course."
Harry and Albus stared at each other.
"Is there anything else, Sir?" asked Draco, finally breaking the silence.
"There was a message as well."
"Really," replied Harry uninterested.
"Seems it was a House dispute."
"Interesting."
"Between the Lestrange's and the Potter's."
"What?" said James, shocked.
"That's exactly what your father said when I talked to him earlier," replied Albus.
James looked at Harry, obviously confused, then the door to the bedroom opened and Lily and Daphne came out. James eyes widened as he put the pieces together, completely shocked. If Lily was Harry's mother and he had to declare a house feud because of what they did to her….then she must be a Potter….She must end up as … as his…
"While this is fascinating Sir, I don't see how House feuds have anything to do with Hogwarts," said Draco.
"So many curious changes in the last few days, wouldn't you agree, Lord Peverell? Or is it Lord Potter?" asked Albus.
"Either is fine, Albus. Now, if there's nothing else we were in the middle of discussing House business."
The entire group stared at Harry in shock. Lily moved to her son's side and raised her eyebrow at Albus, daring him to continue.
Albus stood and said, "I told you before that terrible things happen to wizards who mess with time."
"Actually, Albus, terrible things happen to wizards who mess with my family. Now, if you'll excuse us," said Harry motioning to the door.
Albus stared him down for a minute before he nodded and said, "Thank you all for your time."
They watched as he left the suite and Draco held up his hand telling everyone to keep quiet while Blaise and Daphne scanned the room for listening charms. They finally found one and deactivated it, giving the all clear.
The room exploded as everyone began speaking at the same time. Harry closed his eyes, trying to relax but the Alpha in him was getting angrier by the second. He felt someone grab his hand and opened his eyes to see his mother. She smiled at him and pulled both of his hands in hers and moved close to him so only he could hear what she said.
"I don't need to know anything Harry. I felt a connection to you the moment I laid eyes on you and I promise you that I will do whatever you ask of me. I can put the pieces together if you are Lord Potter. I won't fight it, although I'm seriously curious about how it happened in the first place."
Harry grinned at her and pulled one of his hands loose to touch her face, in awe still that she was in front of him.
"I'm sorry for whatever happened. I clearly didn't get to raise you otherwise I don't think you would be as awestruck with me as you are."
Harry sighed and rubbed his finger against her cheek before replying, "I wish you had… I wish I had a normal childhood with my parents. Merlin, I wished it so many times…" he broke off, too choked up to continue.
Lily pulled him into a fierce hug and he closed his eyes and hugged her back, letting the tears fall for the first time in what felt like his entire life. "I'm so sorry Harry," she whispered over and over again.
He buried his head in her neck and tried to memorize everything, the way she felt in his arms, the way she smelled, the way she sounded, even the way her magic was able to soothe his.
The room had gone quiet a long time ago watching the scene play out. Hermione was snuggled into Draco's embrace, silent tears falling down her face. How often had she wished this for Harry. Everything that had happened or will happen was worth it just for this moment. She looked around and saw Luna and Daphne snuggled into either side of Blaise before she moved to see Sirius and James. They were both somber, obviously aware of the tension in the room and most likely now knowing enough to put the pieces together. James looked resigned, he knew his greatest desire came true but obviously must have ended tragically. She watched as Sirius nudged him and motioned to Lily and Harry and finally, slowly, he approached them. They separated just enough to give James space to join them. He gazed at Lily, nothing but love shining from his eyes and she gasped, wondering how she could have ever missed it in the first place. He smiled back at her shyly then turned to face Harry, scrutinizing his features, cataloging each one… Lily's eyes, his awful hair… he chuckled and Harry raised his eyebrow.
"I'm sorry for the hair," James said grinning.
Harry grinned and said, " 's alright," then pulled his father in for a hug, surprising James. He had been so standoffish with him at first, obviously trying to keep him at arm's length.
Before he could stop himself, he asked, "Are there more of you?"
"James, don't," said Lily, quietly. She knew it was unlikely that she had other children if she didn't get a chance to raise Harry but obviously James hadn't realized that yet.
Harry shook his head, not wanting to show the pain in his eyes, "Just me."
James pulled back and held him at arm's length then smiled as he said, "Well, we Potter's do like to dote on and spoil our only son's."
Harry smiled tightly, trying to enjoy the moment but the only thing running through his head was how was he going to save them?
As if sensing the shift in his thoughts, Hermione and Draco moved forward and pulled Harry into their embrace. They surrounded him, giving him time to process and shielding him from view. He gripped Draco's shirt and Hermione's hip, burying his head in the space between them. They closed ranks and hugged him tightly, feeling the sobs wrack through him. Hermione cast a muffliato to give him some privacy so that only her and Draco could hear him when he finally cried out, "It's not fair!"
"I know, love, I know," said Hermione rubbing her hands along his back.
Draco bent down and said fiercely, "We've come all this way, Harry. We will make sure that everyone pays for what you have suffered, what we've all suffered. And I promise you, we'll do everything we can to try and change their fate."
Hermione looked at him, eyes wide in surprise, but he nodded sharply, committed to never seeing Harry so broken again. Slowly, she nodded back, squeezing Harry tighter. Fuck it all, she would do whatever she had to do to change Harry's fate.
As if he felt the shift in energy around him, Harry calmed and raised his head to look between them, searching for the answer.
Hermione placed one hand on Harry's face and Draco mimicked her on the other side of his face. They were determined and Harry saw it. He took a deep breath and asked, "Are you sure?"
They both nodded without hesitation, then each wiped the tears from his face, before leaning in and kissing him gently, taking turns to say words of encouragement.
"Whatever you need Harry, I'll do it," promised Hermione.
"Whatever you desire Harry, I'll do it," promised Draco.
"And I, you, until the day that I die," promised Harry.
There was a light that flashed around them, only lasting a second before it dissipated. Harry, Hermione and Draco looked at each other in amusement before they separated and Hermione cancelled the muffliato.
As soon as he stepped back, he was nearly tackled by Luna and Daphne, both kissing his face and whispering words into his ears. He smiled and pulled them closer, letting them know he was okay.
Draco and Hermione eyed Blaise, who was squirming nearby, obviously uncomfortable. He was clearly trying to fight the desire to go to Harry but finally swore under his breath and launched himself at Harry, pushing him back against the nearest door, opening it and shoving him through, kicking the door shut.
"You fucking wanker, I hate that I care so much about you," growled Blaise into Harry's ear. Harry groaned and Blaise ground his hips roughly against Harry, pushing him harder against the wall.
"Fuck," gasped Harry, as Blaise pinned his arms against the wall near his head.
Blaise moved his face so close that their noses were practically touching, scanning Harry's eyes to confirm he was alright.
Harry understood and said, "I'm alright. Just lost my composure for a bit."
Blaise didn't move, not sure he believed Harry.
Harry decided enough was enough and flipped their positions, dominating Blaise and pinning him to the wall, "I said I'm alright."
Blaise clenched his jaw and pushed against Harry's arms, trying to free himself.
Harry grinned lecherously as he ground against Blaise, feeling his excitement.
"Stop," whispered Blaise, closing his eyes in shame.
Harry pulled away so fast that Blaise nearly fell to the ground. He stood on the other side of the room, shaking, "God Blaise, I'm sorry."
Blaise shook his head, trying to clear it of the buzzing that was filling it up. His magic was surging to the surface, reaching out for Harry, obviously missing his touch. Before he knew what happened he was on his knees vomiting.
Harry was shouting, "Hermione!" before he even reached Blaise's side. He touched his shoulder and was shocked when Blaise suddenly groaned, "Don't!"
Hermione was there and then so was Draco and then everybody else, "What happened?"
"I… I don't know!" shouted Harry, distraught. "He was fine and then he wasn't!"
Luna pulled Harry's hand into hers, before she grabbed Blaise's hand in her other. She closed her eyes and focused very hard, gasping when she opened her eyes to see their magic swirling around. It was a violent clash of colors and she immediately understood. "Blaise, you have to stop fighting it."
He shook his head and groaned.
Luna looked around and said, "Can you leave us?"
Everyone nodded and left the room. Harry went to do the same but she shook her head and said, "Not you. Close the door."
He swallowed and did as she asked, dreading what was to come.
Luna took her wand and cleaned up Blaise's mess then accio'd a cloth from the bathroom. She wet the cloth, then placed it gently on his forehead. "Blaise, you have to give in. You're making yourself sick. No good can come from you fighting him this way."
Harry frowned and kneeled beside Blaise and said, "Blaise, please. What can I do to make this better?"
Blaise shook his head, unwilling to speak.
Luna took Harry's hand and placed it on Blaise's face, holding it there.
Blaise's eyes shot open, panic surging forward.
Harry tried to pull back but Luna held firm. She then grabbed his other hand and placed it on the other side of Blaise's face, causing him to groan.
"It's alright Blaise, just close your eyes and let the feeling wash through you," said Luna softly.
He looked at her in a panic but finally after several moments of staring at each other Blaise complied. Luna motioned Harry to do the same and he did so reluctantly.
"Tell me what you feel Blaise."
He opened and closed his mouth several times before he finally said, "Unsettled. Like my magic is warring with Harry's."
"It is Blaise. I can see it. You have to submit and let Harry's magic win."
Blaise shook his head, terrified.
"Harry, tell me what you feel."
"It's like I'm dueling, my magic is surging, ready to strike."
"You both can't keep this up. One of you has to submit, and I'm sorry Blaise, but it has to be you. Harry has to be the Alpha, you know this."
Blaise made a noise of protest.
Luna continued, "Harry, I want you to take Blaise, you have to."
Harry's eyes shot open and he said, "What? No!"
"You have to make him submit, or he's going to get sicker. There's no way out of this bond, Harry, other than death. If he doesn't submit then his magic will start attacking him."
Harry shook his head, "I'll not force him, Luna!"
She sighed and turned to Blaise, talking softly, "Blaise, look at me."
He slowly opened his eyes and she said, "Please, Blaise, for me, for Daphne, for Draco, I need you to submit to Harry. Please."
After several minutes of silence he finally whispered, "I don't know how."
"I'll show you, if you'll let me," she replied softly.
Finally, he nodded.
She kissed his cheek and said, "Thank you. Why don't you go wash up and we'll wait here for you. I'm just going to let everyone know we'll be occupied for a bit."
Blaise nodded and stood, his whole body hunched over in dread. When the bathroom door closed, Harry looked at her in fear, "Luna, I… I don't want to do this."
She kissed him gently and said, "I know, Harry, but you have to. There's no other way for him to accept this. The bond is formed, he has to submit or he's going to get much sicker."
"But…"
"We'll take it slow Harry, we'll make sure he enjoys it. Nothing like the first time."
Harry blushed and looked away.
"Please, Harry," she pleaded.
Finally, he nodded, head hung low.
She stood and kissed his cheek, then whispered, "I'll be back. Just try and relax."
When she stepped out everyone was waiting for her to speak.
"I think perhaps you might want to head out for a few hours. I need some time with Harry and Blaise to work this out."
They all started to ask a question but Luna held her hand up and said, "Please. This is hard enough as it is. Just go."
Shocked at Luna's fierceness, they all slowly nodded.
"Why don't we go somewhere we won't be overheard and start planning the House meetings?" suggested Daphne.
"Where though?" asked Draco
"The Room of Requirement," said Hermione, grinning.
"The what?" asked James, Sirius, Daphne and Lily at the same time.
Hermione grinned and said, "I'll show you." Then she turned to Luna and asked, "We'll plan on returning after dinner, okay?"
Luna nodded and said, "Yeah, that should be enough time."
Everyone slowly filed out and when the door closed Luna covered her face with her hands. How was she going to help these two come together? Blaise was so against it and Harry would never force him so she had to find a way to relax the both and get them in a state where they could just feel. She suddenly had an idea and even though she had never done anything like it before she didn't think there was any harm in giving it a try. Mind made up she gathered her thoughts and turned towards her bedroom, knowing exactly what she needed to get started. While she was there she searched through the new things Daphne had bought her and found exactly what she was looking for. Blushing fiercely she left the room and steeled herself for being in complete control the next few hours. She could absolutely do this. Blaise and Harry needed her to. She opened the door and closed it behind her, ignoring the gasp from Harry. She motioned him to stand up and step away from the bed and he did, dumbfounded. She pulled the covers off completely and tossed several pillows off to the side so that only two remained, she placed them how she wanted them and ignored the second gasp as the bathroom door opened. She lit several candles and levitated them where she wanted them, then placed a bottle of something on each nightstand. When she was done she noxed the lights and twirled her wand so that soothing music played lowly. After a minute, she gathered her courage and approached Harry, pulling his shirt over his head and tossing it aside, before unzippering his pants and slowly kneeling to the ground to remove them. He was mesmerized by her and did exactly as she asked. She took his hand and pulled him towards the bed, "Lay down on your stomach, please," she asked.
He nodded and did as asked.
Satisfied she then turned to Blaise and approached him, causing him to tense immediately.
"Do you trust me?" she whispered.
He hesitated then said, "I do, Luna."
"Good," she replied before pulling his shirt over his head, then kneeling to remove his pants. When he was in just his briefs she lead him to the other side of the bed. "Lay down on your stomach, please."
He hesitated a second before doing so.
"Thank you. Now turn your heads so you can see each other."
They both did and opened their eyes, staring at each other, both looking wary. Luna leaned over and kissed them one at a time, as passionately as she could from above them. Harry tried to follow her as she pulled away but she just smiled at him and pushed gently on his shoulder so he laid back down. She took his hand and joined it with Blaise's hand, in between their bodies. Thankfully they intertwined their fingers on their own.
"I want you both to relax. Try not to think about anything other than what you're feeling at the moment."
