Tsuna felt the bullet. He felt the pain. He felt the blood as it dribbled onto the floor staining the white of his shirt. He felt himself falling. He felt it as his body hit the floor. He felt the coldness draw him in and sleep try to take over. He felt it.
Heard it. He heard the cries. The yells the screams. The pain in their throaty and raw yells. He heard their voices begging him to stay. To help them fight. To not leave. He heard it.
He knew that this could not be prevented. Even when they stopped Byakuran he still died. It was a fate fitting of a mafia boss he supposed. He knew that protecting his familia was first. He was fine with dieing. As long as they were safe it was okay. He knew his mom would cry and his dad would grieve. Haru would mourn and Kyoko would break down. But that was okay. They would heal in time.
He knew his Friends and family would fight. They would fight for what was right. He just knew. His children would want to seek revenge but would never do it. He knew that all the things he said would never be forgotten. Not even those simple talk's from one to the other on a restless night; staring at a starless night sky.
Ne, Yamomoto?
Yes ,Tsuna-Kun?
What would you do if I were to die? Just there one minute and gone the next? What would you do then?
Hahahaha, I don't know Tsuna-Kun. I doubt we will ever need to worry about it though. Because we will protect you Tsuna-Kun. All of us will with our lives.
I guess your right huh? Why worry about that with you guys around right?
Right!
He knew that all he believed in would be listened to and fought for. Whether by his children or his guardians. That is why he knew they would be okay. Time heals even the deepest of wound's. It put's thing's into perspective. Death changes people. And That's why Tsuna was willing to die for them. Because they would fulfill all of the things he wished to do. It was something he could just tell because he knew.
He just knew.
