Hey guys, long time no see, again!

So the reason for the long wait in between chapters is the same song and dance (mental illness is a b*tch that keeps trying to end my life), so I'm not going to go into detail about it. Just know that I'm sorry I'm a pretty unreliable fic writer, and that I'm grateful to any of you who are still sticking around to see where this story goes!

The good news is that I am spending the next month focusing exclusively on this story, in between getting my life together, and I've already written 809 words of the new chapter, which is something of an achievement since I have written ten words of any fic in literal months!

I'm still a little undecided as to how this story will end, which does sort of affect me writing the middle. Gotta know where you're going to get there, ya know? But I'm sort of leaning towards a blending of the canon season 7/8 content with my own ideas. Because when you dig deep into the last two seasons, there was some promising stuff there, it was just the overall execution (at times literal execution, RIP my boi Jaime, you didn't deserve what those showrunner b*tches did to you) that missed the mark.

What I do want to know is what parts of seasons 7 and 8 do you think are worth saving? Lemme know and if I agree, we might see them in SRWWAL!

Again, I'm really grateful to all of my readers who haven't abandoned me and this story, and to all the new ones, I see you and I'm grateful for you guys too!

I hope to post sometime later this month, so check your emails!

Lots of love,

Sophie!

P.S who else watched The Witcher and is now obsessed with it like I am? I'm asexual, but Geralt of Rivia could still get it!

P.P.S I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays, whichever holiday you and yours celebrate!

P.P.P.S I've family who live in Australia, so any of you who have the means to donate to any of the organisations who are helping to fight the bushfires out there, please do! There are several GoFundMe's that have been set up to help large areas of Aus that have been affected, but you can also donate directly to certain fire departments, such as the NSW Rural Fire Service, who set up a "help our heroes" page. There is also the Australian Red Cross. Also consider donating to animal-based organisations, such as Koalas in Care, The Rescue Collective and Animal Rescue Freecycle and Support who are raising money to help the badly burned wildlife, who've been arguably more affected than people during these terrible fires. I know not everyone can donate, because so far this month, I'm one of them, but if you can, please consider it, and if you can't, just try and spread the word about these organisations to people who might be able to help.

Thanks again loves!
