Aela barged in the second after the two finished their moment with each other.

"Can you not almost die for at least a few months?!"

When Alex had first come to Whiterun he had met Aela and a few other companions while fighting a giant that was destroying a farm home. Following that Alex had ended up spending a lot of time with the companions, and even more time with Aela after he accepted her werewolf blood.

"It wasn't even that bad this time. My werewolf blood kicked in the regeneration faster since I have control over my beast side."

He then looked over towards Serana as he felt his strength coming back.

"So you look a lot better than before." He said with a weak smile.

She was mad at herself for draining Alex of so much blood but she didn't let it show. The cut started to close on Alex's arm as Serana tried to grab his arm only to have him snatch it away. She gave him a defeated look.

"Quit with the doom and gloom look really I am perfectly fine." Showing her his arm as proof.

Alex slowly got up making sure he didn't cause anyone to worry about him.

"You two staying long?"

I would had I not had my little accident and slept here a night.

"Well technically it was two but hey who's counting?"

Alex gave a snort of annoyance as he glared at Aela. He motioned to Serana that it was time to go. He put on his old iron armor that he wore when he first began to travel and had served him well although it was a little tight from his muscles getting bigger after using a two-handed sword all the time. Serana still not saying a word said she was going to get food from the market as she was looking out for Alex's needs as she feared he was playing off being drained of blood to lightly. Aela was still in the house as Alex finished strapping his gauntlets on.

"So where is your next 'big' saving the world excursion taking the both of you?" Aela said in a cross tone.

"Fort Dawngaurd… Serana and I have to go meet a Moth Priest so he can read an elder scroll."

"What happens after that? You get the elder scroll read and then what?" Aela said with a deep concern.

"I imagine that the scroll will tell us where to go next. Hopefully it leads us to something that can get rid of this army of vampires." Alex said so sure of himself even though his voice was dripping of doubt.

"What about her? What's your plan for her?"

Alex was confused at first as to what she meant but he caught on quick.

"She stays alive, I protect her at all cost-""But she is a vampire Alex she needs to go as well!" They both glared at each other both holding ground.

"I love her Aela… I'm sorry things between you and I didn't work out but don't let that cloud your judgment on the situation." Alex had a guilty tone to his voice the Alea took as an apology.

"Now listen I need you to do something for me…"

My idea to go get supplies from the market was a horrible idea… not only did I leave Alex alone with the crazy werewolf lady but I can deffinatly tell that they are talking to each other. It is too hard to tell because of all these bloody people. I am so beyond angry at that man. Whatever dream or vision he had heavily influence him professing his love for me. I don't know what it was.

Alex walked out of the house as Serana was trying to walk in. The two were mere inches away from each other's face, Alex could feel the awkwardness building so he gave her a kiss on the forehead. Which caused her to blush.

"Fool you almost knocked all of our supplies I bought out of my hand."

"Well sorry I wanted to go grab my sword before we left wait here for 5 more minutes and we can be off finally."

Alex and Serana had been traveling all night and the sun was starting to pop up and Alex could tell she was tired.

"We're coming up to Ivarstead… I know a cozy little inn we could crash at during the day." Serana just nodded her head in compliance. Alex normally wouldn't be concerned, but the fact that she hadn't said a word to him since Whiterun left him concerned. They rented a room for the day saying they would leave the key on the desk later in the day when they were ready to leave.

Alex stripped off his armor leaving him only in his tunic and pants that he wore to stay warm underneath the iron. Serana just lay on the bed facing away from Alex she was startled however when he sat on the ledge trying to comfort her which got him a shove with her hand to get off.

"So what's wrong you haven't spoken since we-"

Serana sat up almost as fast and furiously as the slap that she planted on Alex's face.

"I know you had some type of dream or vision you had when you were unconscious but the moment you were knocked out I felt a jolt of magicka shock me which caused me to stop. It caused me to stop because it inflicted me with fear. A fear I have felt one other time and that was the night I was turned into a vampire. Which is what I am assuming your dream was about and why you said you loved me!"

Alex was completely stunned not only by her slapping him but she was spot on with her accusation.

"Yes you are correct on the first two things but I do love you. The fact that I had that vision means I did see what happened on the night you became a vampire, I saw the pain you went through on that night. I made the decision so that you never have that pain again, and it made my feelings for you solidify so I could tell you that honestly!"

"I am not some child that needs to be protected!" She bared her fangs at him almost like she was going to attack him. Serana could feel tears swelling in her eyes.

"Alex I…"

"Save it."

He walked out of the room slamming the door and made his way to the inn keeper's bar to grab a drink and try to drown the feelings he was having towards Serana… nothing could describe it, he hated it because it felt like something was lodged in his heart. As Serana sat in the bed trying not to cry in the pillow she felt sorry for accusing Alex of not loving her.

"He sacrificed his blood along with risking his life for my wellbeing along with almost attacking him. The only person who cares about me right now.. I just lost."

Serana awoke at dusk to find Alex already strapped up in his armor with his sword beside him ready to place on his back. He looked like he hadn't slept all night.

"Good Morning…" Serana said in a shy voice unsure of what Alex would say.

"Don't you mean 'Good Night'?" He turned around giving Serana a reassuring smile. Which made her feel even worse.

"Why can't you be mad at me like a normal person?!"

Before Serana could even form her next sentence Alex closed the space in between them for a passionate kiss that she instantly melted into.

"That's an official promise that I still love you even after all this."

"Shut up…" She ended up mumbling an 'I love you too' quiet enough for a whisper but loud enough for him to hear it.

They made it to the Fort in the middle of the Fort while everyone was on edge for attacks. Alex made himself well known by shouting 'Fus' at the door causing it to burst open with enough force to be aggressive but not quite enough to break the door. Isran was standing in the middle of the room along with Dexion, both of them with a dumbfounded look on each of their faces.

"Points for finding the moth priest so fast, but those points get subtracted for nearly breaking my door." Isran said in his usual deep professional voice he liked to use around new people. However Alex wasn't interested in Isran he turned towards Dexion giving him full attention.

"Glad you made it here safely and in one piece! I trust my friends have made you feel welcomed" Alex said with a very friendly tone.

"Yes thank you for your concern, but I am very eager to read the scroll.. Not to be rude or anything." Dexion had an excited tone to his voice like a child on his birthday.

"Of course read away." Alex handed him the scroll as if second nature he opened the scroll immediately.

"I see a vision before me, a great bow… I recognize it as Auriels bow! A voice whispers "from the night's children a dread lord will rise. In an age of strife, when dragons return to the realm of man, darkness will mingle with light and the night and day will be as one. The voice fades, but there is more. The secret of the bow is written elsewhere in other scrolls. One contains the secret of the dragons and the other of ancient blood.

"ARE YOU FRIGGIN' KIDDING ME.?" Alex went outside and released his fire breath shout that shook the mountain side. "This was supposed to tell us where the bow was. Not that we needed other scrolls! I am pretty sure I have the dragon scroll but the one of ancient blood where is that at!?" Alex continued to go on a tangent for another half hour. Isran told Serana where the two of them would be staying together before they head out tomorrow to find the other scroll. Serana had just bathed and was in some more comfortable clothes when Alex finally walked in

Are you quiet done now? I know where to find the other scroll…l my mother has it." This made Alex's mood do a total 180.

"That's fantastic so we just go to your mom tomorrow and BAM problem solved."

"Well that's the problem I don't know where she is exactly."

"Maybe she's hiding in the castle waiting to kill your dad." Alex said with a sarcastic tone, but Serana had her gears moving in her head.

"You bloody idiot that's exactly where she is! She had a garden in the courtyard where she planted herbs! She spent all her time there she had to have something cooking!" Before Alex could even retort Serana tackled him and kissed him. As they pulled away they stared each other furiously Alex finally pulled her back in for another passionate kiss while at the same time carrying her and through her on the bed. He embraced her as he made his way to her lips to kiss her again before using magic to eliminate the candle light that filled the room with light...
