Epilogue/Preview – The Siren
Crowds of barbaric soldiers laughed as the knights were hit repeatedly. Tristan stood tall, a sword at his throat stopping him from doing anything. Helios, the Barbarian King, stood on the steps of Camelot. The Knights were in chains, battered and bruised.
Mordred stood at the side of the doors, looking pleased with himself. He watched over the men who had taken the city for them. The kingdom of Camelot was theirs.
Arthur was dragged through his knights. The soldier stopped him in front of the steps. He tugged on the chains, trying to get the muddied King to bow to his new King. Arthur resisted, and only fell forward when he was kicked in the back of his knees.
"What do you want?" Arthur growled. "Why are you doing this?" He demanded.
Helios' booming laugh echoed around the courtyard. "'Why' is not the question you should be asking. You should be asking what I am taking from you next."
Arthur glared, refusing to ask the question he wanted him to. The soldier kicked him again and punched him hard, making him fall on the floor on his side. Dirt covered his face and his blonde hair as he picked himself up onto his knees, spitting blood from his mouth out.
"I have taken your father from you; killed in his sleep. Now, I have taken your Kingdom and your crown." Helios stood right in front of him, smirking down on the young King. "Next, I will take your Queen." He sneered.
Arthur let out a laugh, spitting the blood out again. "Only if you find her."
The doors of the castle opened. His heart stopped.
