"Sterling, remember to eat your vegetables." I said while looking the young boy in the eyes. "I won't…geez I'm not a little kid…" He said while looking nervously at me then looking back down. "You're not a little kid, you sure? Last I checked you were thirteen." I chuckled and he huffed. "Exactly, I'm thirteen. Unlike elves that's a pretty decent age." He said while crossing his arms.

"Please, just the other day you couldn't even h-." I was cut off with a hand over my mouth and a blushing Sterling glaring at me. "Shut it." He hissed and I smirked under his hand before he removed said hand. "Sterling, I only say this because I was forced to care for you." I joked around and he glared at me even longer.

Legolas was standing besides me and behind Sterling was Liliana and Erikur. "Well, I guess this is farewell for now. I'll make sure to eventually visit you, well visit Liliana and inevitably visit you." I said with a smirk while he frowned. "Goodbye, Valaina…" he said before I turned around to leave. I felt a hand on my wrist and I turned around.

The moment I did I felt a hand cup my cheek and a pair of lips on my own. It was only brief since Legolas gave a sharp tug on my other arm. "I'll see you around." Sterling said while smirking, although he was also blushing. I saw him give Legolas a smug look before walking away and I stood there. Guess the little brat had a small crush on me.

"Valaina, we're leaving." Legolas said in an unusual bitter voice that I never heard on him before. Truth be told, it was a little hot. He dragged me back onto Ohen and I gave the command to take off back to Mirkwood. I felt a hand around my waist and a head on my shoulder. "Legolas…?" I asked, wondering about the sudden intimacy that he usually didn't show all that often, well unless I initiated it.

I felt the grip tighten a bit and I smiled. "Are you…jealous?" I chuckled a bit and the grip was tightened even more. "You're my wife, of course I am…" he mumbled and I smirked. "It's just puppy love, and you shouldn't be jealous of the brat." I instructed and he let go of my waist. "I guess you're right." He said, going back to the usual riding position we had which was back to back.

I found it adorable that he was jealous over something so small, I guess he isn't good at sharing. I closed my eyes and leaned back onto him while letting the wind flow through my hair.

"We're back again." A voice spoke up and I hummed in response. I knew this voice anywhere, the ominous one. "I've come to fulfill the promise I made you, to let you go back to your world, if only for a short time." The voice spoke and I shook my head. "I have no interest in going back. The Rae that my family knows is dead, now there is only Valaina." I explained and the voice was silent for a moment.

"You're saying you are fine with never going back?" It asked and I nodded. "I did make a promise though. I know what I can do. Not now, but in the future I want you to have something that should by all means be yours. I was told to never let anyone outside of your family read it, so it will be yours. You need to mature more though." The voice spoke and I was genuinely confused as to what he could've been talking about.

"What belongs to me?" I asked him, needing to know now. "It isn't the time to tell you now. One day you'll find it. When you leave all that is familiar behind, I'll give it to you." He spoke to me and I nodded. "Promise?" I asked him and I heard him chuckle. "I owe you, besides this should've been yours either way." He explained to me before I started to zone out once more.

"Valaina?" A voice spoke to me and I turned around. "Yes, Legolas?" I asked him with a small frown and he smiled. "You were spacing out, what were you thinking about?" He questioned and I could only shrug. "Well the elves will soon be leaving the land, and we will be staying behind for awhile. I was just wondering what I should do." I said and he shifted slightly.

"You like writing, don't you?" he said and I nodded with a smirk. "It's what I love to do." I explained to him. "Maybe you should write a novel, whatever you wish to write about go ahead and write it." He said and I nodded. "I know the perfect story to write!" I said, jumping a bit and I could tell Ohen wasn't happy about it. "What will it be called then?" Legolas questioned and a smirk adorned my lips. "Dimensional Ring."

I close the book and look down at my dear friend. "You finally finished it, only took you fifty years." A voice spoke to me with a sad cough. "Well at least I finished it." I reply with a smirk. "Yes, yes. Now get these kids out of here, story time is long over." Liliana spoke while she lay in bed with her three grandchildren surrounding her.

Sterling walks into the room and notices the kids are whining. "Mama, what did you say to them?" He asks us and we both smile. "Story time is over." I reply casually while getting up. "Mama, that can't be how it ends." A small elfling with blond hair and hazel eyes says with a frown. "Well this story could go on forever, but you see I don't want to bore everyone who reads it with my boring life tale." I explain to him while he puffs out his cheek.

"Valaina, come on now, tell him the ending." Legolas says from the doorway, next to Sterling. "Fine, then I end up growing older in these lands as does Liliana, although I don't show it. Once Liliana has grandchildren I finally have my first boy who is only five years of age." I say while ruffling his hair up while the three other children start giggling.

"Everyone, get out, save Valaina." Liliana instructs and they do as there told. I give a small peck to Caranthir's head before Legolas picks him up and takes him to the other room. "I've lived a nice life, Valaina. I've gone on many adventures and I even had one child of my own next to Sterling. I now even have three grandchildren from both my other children." Liliana began and I frown.

"It has indeed been quite fun." I say, looking at the poor, frail woman who use to be so strong and full of life besides me. "After I'm gone, you will take your family to the Undying lands I presume?" Liliana speaks and I nod. "That is the plan." I say with a sad smile. "Well it seems the time is now here." She says, coughing a bit.

"Liliana, don't say that." I say quickly, leaning over so our foreheads touch each other's. "Remember that promise you made, to always protect me all those years back?" She asks and I nod, trying not to cry. "You've done well with that. Now can I ask you to promise me one last thing?" She asks me again and I feel tears prickling my eyes.

"Anything." I choke out and she looks at me. Her once vibrant blue eyes were now dull as I stared into them. "Promise me that you won't mourn me for too long. You will let life go back to normal. You'll still remember me not in my dying days, but when we were young?" She asks me and I cover my mouth and nod.

"I promise you, I will never forget." I say, tears stinging my eyes. "Valaina, thank you. I hope that one day, we will meet again. Not soon though. Maybe in a couple thousand years perhaps." Liliana says while laughing a bit and a tear falls down my cheek. "This is it, goodbye." She says before her eyes glaze over and I can no longer see life in them. "Goodbye my friend," I whisper back, "and thank you."

Everyone this is the last chapter. I cried while writing this, no joke. I literally bawled my friggin eyes out. This is it, this is how our story ends. The sequel isn't confirmed yet since I don't know if I'll be writing one. I just wanted to think everyone who has stuck with me this far and read the whole story, I know it isn't the best but this is one of my favorite stories to write and I'm so sad it's ended.

I love you all and I wish you well and if there's a sequel it won't be for a long while. Just follow this and I'll post when the sequel comes out, if it ever does. Once again I love you all.
