2 Years Later...

CLARY-

"Jace, come on we're going to be late," I called as I stepped out the institute door into the chilly night. I glanced down at the engagement ring on my left hand and sighed, we had been engaged for nine months now and their had been no talk of a wedding. I felt a breath on my neck, expecting it to be Jace I spun around and clung to his muscular body. I felt a kiss on the neck and then fangs sinking deep into my neck, terrified I looked up and saw Simon standing above me a smirk on his face. "You were always mine." At that he bit into his wrist and forced me to down his blood, then he sunk his teeth back into my neck.

JACE-

I stepped out the door of the institute to see a crumpled figure on the path ahead of me I ran to see who it was, the victim had red hair. My heart quickened with fear, roughly i rolled the person over to see the face. It was Clary, her neck covered in blood from two small wound her mouth smeared with blood, vampire blood...
