Hello everyone! Long time no see. Sorry for not updating, a bit of writer's block, but not for the story, more like how I wanted to write this chapter. So here we go again with a new chapter! Oh! And thanks for the comments, and also about Clarisse swearing on the river styx… just know that whatever I put in the story is what I deem relevant… sort of.

Disclaimer: I do not own the PJO series.

Percy POV-

"Ninety nine bottles of beer on the wall, ninety nine bottles of beer! Take one down, pass it around… ninety eight bottles of beers on the wall. Ninety eight bot-"

"Shut up Prissy!" Clarisse yelled, annoyed.

I blinked at her and mocked innocence, "Oh my bad, am I annoying you? Because I'll stop if you both apologize to each other, then apologize to the rest of us for getting stuck in a freaking cramped cage!"

"Well, you're the sea expert, can't you just use the ocean and get us out of this mess?" She exclaimed.

I smiled lazily and leaned back against the wall, twirling riptide in its pen form, "I could… but I won't until you guys apologize."

She looked over to Annabeth, who was in the next cage over with Tyson and Nico.

She turned back to me, "I won't apologize."

I shrugged and said, "Then I won't get us out, and I won't stop singing."

I opened my mouth and continued singing loudly, thinking back to what happened.

Flashback-

We ended up at a dock and I kept Nico from falling over, while looking to see if anyone got left behind. Thankfully, everyone was there. We looked to find there were only two boats. One was a row boat, the other was a cruise ship named the Princess Andromeda.

"Well, I don't know about you guys, but I'd rather go on a cruise, plus there's more space." I said jokingly.

They rolled their eyes at me and we boarded the ship. It was strange, shouldn't cruise ships have more people? There was no one around anywhere so far. Maybe there was some indoor event. All I knew was that we'd have to sneak around since technically we aren't supposed to be on the cruise.

We crept around silently, trying to find a place to crash since we, especially Nico, needed to rest. On the ninth floor, we finally found an empty room and rushed in, closing and locking the door. Inside the room were two beds and two couches where we quickly decided who slept where and who would keep watch.

I volunteered to have the first watch. A couple minutes later, the rest were asleep while I was watching some interesting show about a man with companions, traveling through space and time in a box that's smaller on the outside(AN: I do not own Doctor Who). A noise sounded behind me, and I whipped my head back to see Hermes.

He strolled over to me casually and sat, "Hey Percy, nice to see you again. How many years has it been since I last saw you… 60 years?"

My eyes slightly widened in surprise but I kept myself calm, "How'd you guess it was me… you're not taking me back are you? Because if you are, I will tell Aphrodite who it really was who painted her throne brown and ruined her make up supply."

He paled at the thought of Aphrodite finding out and shook his head, "No, I'm not here for that, and also, of course I'd know it was you Percy, remember the 666th floor? You're using your alternate universe's name as a disguise. Anyways, I'm here because you're going to need a few things on your quest, also I was wondering if you'd do me a favor."

I looked at him suspiciously, "If it's for a prank, I can't right now, I'm currently on a rescue mission."

"No, not a prank… my son, Luke. He won't listen to me, he's angry… at the gods. Please, try and convince him to come back, you're good at those kinds of things."

I stared at him with disbelief, "You must be out of your mind if you think I could convince him. I couldn't even convince my own parents to let me out of the palace after that incident. What makes you believe I could convince your son, who has our enemy whispering sweet nothings in his ear, to come back to the gods he holds accountable for his anger?"

"Come on Persephone! Before you were born, our family was a mess, we fought all the time, but then you came along and fixed it. We didn't fight as much, and we actually acted like family. And then when you disappeared, look at what happened to us! I know you've noticed you're too observant not too. You're what helps us, when you disappeared, everything changed to how it used to be, without you… just, never mind, that's not important at the moment."

He took a breath. "We can deal with that issue later. I won't take you back, not unless it's urgent. I know you can handle yourself, you've done fine so far. Anyway, my point is, you're a natural leader Perce, at least try to convince him."

I stared at him, and sighed. Hermes is usually upbeat and mischievous, but at times like these, it calls for him to be serious. "Alright, I'll try to work my so called 'leader skills' but it's really all up to the Fates and Luke. If I don't succeed, don't give up Hermes with only one try, of course it wouldn't be enough to convince him. So other than that, the gifts… aren't gods not supposed to interfere or help?"

Hermes went back to being mischievous, a crooked smile spreading on his face, "Yeah, we aren't but… this isn't an official quest, seeing as you snuck out, also you're a goddess, and lastly, gods could help indirectly, shouldn't you know this already?"

"Did you really think my tutors would teach me that? They'd probably kept that secret so I wouldn't form any ideas."

"Yeah, so back to the gifts." He took out two items. One was a stainless steel canister with Hercules as the design, the other was chewable vitamins.

I held the Hercules canister with distaste, "Couldn't you have gotten a better design? And why would I need the vitamins?"

He smiled sheepishly, "Sorry about the design, I can't really move its contents into a different container, and as for the vitamins… sorry, you'll just have to wait and be surprised. The canister, when uncapped, will release the winds from the four corners of the earth to speed you on your way, since you will need all your strength, and also using your powers in your father's domain might give you away. While the vitamins are there to give you everything you need to be yourself again."

I eyed him suspiciously, but nodded. His phone beeped and he looked at it with a sigh, "Sorry Percy, but duty calls, good luck."

I smiled, "It was nice seeing you again Hermes, and remember, I have Aphrodite's number."

He paled a bit and turned to flash away, "Oh, and Hermes?"

He turned. A big thud sounded and his eyes widened at the sight of Riptide imbedded into the wall right next to his head.

"Don't ever call me Persephone again." I said with an innocent yet threatening smile.

He smiled warily and nodded, then flashed away. I looked over at the clock, then went over to the sink, filled a cup with water and poured it on Nico. He spluttered in surprise and fell off the couch. He shook away his drowsiness and glared up at me.

I smiled, "You're on watch duty"

-Every fairy tale needs a good old-fashioned line break-

"-n is better than wisdom!"

"Even brawn has to bow to wisdom!"

"You-!"

I opened my eyes to see Annabeth and Clarisse yelling at each other. Nico was sleeping on the couch, while Tyson was looking between the two girls with helplessness, trying to say something. He saw that I was awake and ran over giving me one of his famous hugs.

"T-Tyson, I love you too buddy, but I c-can't breathe!" I squeaked out.

He let go and said, "Something smells funny."

My eyebrows raised, "What do you smell? I don't smell anything weird."

"Something bad." He said urgently.

I nodded and got up, if Tyson smells something bad, something's got to be up. I looked to the other two, who were still fighting.

"Don't you walk away from me you coward!" Clarisse shouted.

"I'm not a coward, I'm just taking the high road." Annabeth responded.

"What road? We're on a boat for crying out loud!"

"See? You don't even know what I'm talking about, though seeing as you're a daughter of Ares, I should've expected so."

Clarisse glared, "Don't insult me princess. I know what you're saying, but you're still acting like a coward!" She pulled out her spear, "Fight me, or are you too coward to?"

I mentally face palmed, leave it to Clarisse to use Annabeth's fatal flaw against her. Annabeth lunged at her with her dagger and Clarisse went on taunting her. I stepped in between them and tried to get them to stop fighting, "Guys! What the titans are you fighting about!? This is not the time or place to be doing this! You'll blow our cover!"

They both stopped and glared at me.

"Stay out of this Prissy!" Clarisse said at the same time Annabeth yelled, "Keep out of it seaweed brain!"

They glared at each other and went on with the fighting. Tyson was getting anxious and I was getting frustrated. I opened my mouth to shout when our door was slammed open and monsters poured in. Oh great, just the place to be! In a place where the only escape is where the monsters are.

Annabeth and Clarisse stopped fighting and noticed the monsters surrounding our door. With the amount there was, we were at a disadvantage. A person stepped into the room with a smirk and Annabeth gasped, "Luke!?"

His smirk widened, "Well what a surprise. It's nice to see some familiar faces."

He looked to the monsters surrounding us, "Take them to the cells."

-Trust me, I'm the line break-

And that, is the stupid reason for being stuck in a cage, though like Clarisse said, I could get us out, but I won't until they learn to get along. Clarisse had her hands over her ears, "Okay! I give up! I'll take the high road, since little miss wise girl over here won't!"

Annabeth turned around with an I'm-waiting-look. Clarisse gritted her teeth, "I'm sorry for being rude."

Annabeth looked at her annoyed, "That's it?"

I gave Annabeth a stern look, "At least she apologized, now Annabeth apologize or I won't help."

She looked at me, surprised, "But she started it!"

I glared, "And I'm ending it. You've got to keep your fatal flaw in control wise girl, don't let others use it to their advantage. I feel like I'm an adult scolding two children, and I will continue to treat you both like children unless you prove to me that you can both behave like responsible people."

"Why not just say behave like adults?"

"Not all adults act mature."

"Point taken." She looked at Clarisse and said, "Sorry for insulting your way of thinking, I could have handled the situation more wisely."

"Now apologize to the rest of us for alerting the monsters."

Annabeth narrowed her eyes at me, "Couldn't you have just gotten Nico to shadow travel us out?"

"Nico was sleeping, he was half way across the room. I could have gotten him to shadow travel us, but then the two of you wouldn't have made up." I said nonchalantly.

"Those monsters could have killed us!"

"But they didn't. They were on strict orders not to. You shouldn't let things you can't do get in the way of what you can, wise girl. I let us get captured knowing I'd be able to get us free, and it killed two birds with one stone getting you two to make up and realize that fighting with your allies isn't going to get you anywhere." I said as I went and picked the lock on my cage, then the other cage.

They followed me as I started to find my way out from the dungeon room as I deemed it. "But you couldn't have possibly known you'd be for sure able to pick the lock or used the ocean to free us! What you did was put us in danger! How could you have known any of that!?"

"I wasn't the one to put us in danger in the first place! You two were the ones making noise and blowing our cover!" I yelled, facing her. Then I turned and started to walk on, mumbling quietly under my breath, 'Besides, I've been on this ship before."

"What was that? I didn't hear you."

"Nothing wise girl, just talking to myself. I crept along the side of the ship, finding those small boats you use if the boat sinks. I gestured for them to get in. "You're kidding, right?"

I shook my head, "We can deal with it later, now get in," I turned to Tyson, "Tyson, there's a lever right there, when they get in, slowly lower them down to the ocean, I'll keep watch."

He nodded and I silently walked away. That might take a while, and I had a promise to keep. I shadow traveled to the room I first stayed at all those years ago. It's probably where Luke will be, and I could probably get some answers while I'm at it. I walked out of a shadow and thankfully guessed right, Luke was here… along with a gruesomely designed golden casket that seemed to make the world cold.

He didn't look so surprised to see me. "I doubted a mere cage could keep you locked up."

I narrowed my eyes at him, "Then why even try?"

"I figured sooner or later you'd escape, get the rest to safety and come talk to me. My dad was here… wasn't he?"

My eyebrows shot up. He rolled his eyes, "Oh don't be so surprised. This is my ship, my master would tell me if he felt something."

I looked at him in confusion, "Master, what-" I stopped and looked at the casket and my eyes widened in disbelief, "You can't be serious Luke. Kronos!? Is this your answer? Look, I get that you're mad at the gods, but bringing a titan back is definitely not the solution. Do you seriously believe he'll do what he's promising you Luke? You think the gods are bad? You haven't seen anything Luke. He's using your anger at the gods to mess with you, to get you to do what he wants. Get away from him, all he'll do is say one thing while hiding behind a façade."

He glared, "You're one to talk! Tell me if this is a lie. You're not who you say you are. You're a goddess! Do you really believe everyone at camp will still welcome you if they found out you're lying to them? No, they won't. So don't go saying things that you think is wrong while you yourself are doing it."

"Fine, I may not be the best one to tell you this, but here's the deal, look deep down inside yourself and ask if what I say isn't true. I may be lying to others about who I am, but that's all the more reason for you to be wary of that titan. What did he promise you?"

"He promised the gods will be punished, though not you. There's a prophecy about you that the gods keep from you. Why don't you look deep down inside of yourself and ask if what I say isn't true."

I glared and ran a hand through my hair with frustration, "Fine, you want to play that way!? Listen here demigod, there are ancient laws the gods have to follow, we don't agree with them but that's how it is. Go ahead, hate us. You may think they don't love their kids, but they do. What you're doing is starting a war. You say you care about your fellow demigods, but all you're doing is putting them at risk. People die in wars kid. Every innocent person hurt or killed will be on your hands, not the gods, yours. Gods aren't allowed to interfere in mortal affairs. If you start attacking, you attack the demigods. At the moment Zeus is paranoid, when I was there I was able to keep the gods united, but I'm not. Threaten his power and he'll send demigods. All you'll do is slaughter them. Think about what I said the next time someone's killed or hurt."

I saw his face show a bit of guilt and shadow traveled away, back to the others, diving into the sea. I swam up to the ship with them looking at me curiously,

"Where'd you go?" Annabeth asked, throwing me an oar.

I caught it and smiled a little, leave it to the daughter of Athena to always ask questions, I shrugged, climbing into the small boat, "I was keeping a promise I made."

She looked at me strangely, "Did you fulfill it?"

"It was a start… hopefully."

Annabeth turned back around to help the rest of them row the boat away. I stared at my companions, pondering about what Luke said.

Do you really believe everyone at camp will still welcome you if they found out you're lying to them?

I sighed and shook my head, it's no use thinking about that now.

Yeps! So that's the next chapter and I hopes you all still like the story. Tune in next time for the long awaited guinea pigs! Your wait is over Circe Sorceress :). Mwuhahaha! Pardon my loopiness, I'm pretty excited for the next chapter, like I seriously wrote this one part of the next chapter before I even started writing the first chapter to sea of monsters.

Oh, and the line breaks were from Doctor Who and Sherlock, which I did just for you toocoolfornoschool.

Thanks for sticking with my craziness...

-IAmTheDaughterOfHades

P.S. Sorry for making Annabeth so ugh… I keep making her sound stupid and really annoying when she's supposed to be wise…
