I am extremely sorry this took so long. I just really didn't have the time and uh... Kind of forgot(oops) again extremely sorry. Just know that I won't ever leave a story unfinished so if anyone thought that I did ow will, well there's your answer. Anyway here we go.
Sunlight was gleaming through the window when Kristoff opened his eyes. The orange of the rising sun seemed to give the room a burning but beautiful aura. He closed his eyes and smiled thinking that nothing could get bett- wait. This wasn't his room. Kristoff's eyes shot open as he realized that this was, in fact, Anna's room. He could tell by the way her clothes kind of layed about untidily. He was now also aware that something small and warm was pressed up against the side of his body and that there was a small pressure on his bicep. His eyes slowly shifted down to see Anna's head using his arm as a pillow as she was cuddling into his side. He could also feel his arm wrapped firmly around her so his hand rested on her waist. "oh no no no no" he thought to himself expecting the worst. Silently he lifted the covers that covered their bodies and found that they both still had their clothes on. After he saw this, the blonde immediately let out a sigh of relief. He quickly regretted it due to Anna apparently hearing his sigh. She stirred slightly before opening her tired eyes to look up into Kristoff's.
"Good morning" she said still half asleep while making herself comfortable again in his side.
"Uh... yea you too" he replied. They stayed silent for a minute or two before Kristoff broke the silence between them,"hey I got to go to work". Kristoff tried to leave the bed but Anna quickly garbed his arm and pinned it. Then she quickly reached across his body and pinned his other arm.
"Anna" he sighed,"what are you-"
"No." she cut off, "you're NOT going to work today",she smiled.
"Come on we've had this conversation before..."
"I was thinking that today, you could hang out with me." She finished glaring at him as if daring him to protest.
"Anna you know I can't do that-"
"Why!? Why not!?" She retorted. Kristoff could sense the anger now building inside the girl that pinned him."your precious ice isn't going anywhere and I haven't gotten to spend any time with you lately." She pouted
Kristoff stared into her fiery eyes trying to come up with an excuse. The real reason was of course because he had to meet Elsa later, but he was definitely not going to tell Anna that. "Oh you know... if I don't work then I don't get paid."
Anna stared at him with a look of confusion and something that said 'you are really stupid sometimes'. "um hello?" She said rolling her eyes "first, you and I both know this isn't about the money. I mean have you noticed who it is you're dating? The 'princess'? One of your Best friends is the queen? The queen of the biggest supplier of ice in the world at the moment? Yea, money problems? I don't think so."
"She is smarter than she looks" he thought to himself,"well it helps me maintain my physique." he blurted.
She raised an eyebrow,"your physique?"
"Yea cause you know if I stop working and stop hauling all that ice I'll-I'll you know get like flabby or something."
She narrowed her eyes and shook her head,"really? You're worried about how you look? Come on Kristoff! it's only a day. You won't get flabby in a day." She gave him a quick reassuring peck on the lips, "besides, I love your physique"
Kristoff didn't know if it was just him or did he hear something strange in the way she just said that. He shook it off and said the last thing that came to mind,"I don't know... I just really love the ice."
"You spend all day with it Kristoff, don't you love me also?" She replied giving him eyes that melted his heart.
She was not going to give up this time. "please forgive me Elsa" he thought before answering,"fine"
A smile instantly spread on her face as she squealed in joy,"thank you thank you thank you thank you" she said all together in one quick sentence. She gave him another quick kiss and got out of bed pulling Kristoff with her. "come on ! I have to get ready and so do you, so go to your room and I'll meet you there in 5." with that she shoved him out the door and left a frozen Kristoff standing there.
...
"Gaaaaa! what?" Elsa's head shot up off her desk. Had she fallen asleep while working last night? The queen groaned and rubbed her eyes before getting ready to start the day. Just as she left her room, none other than Kai, their servant who was basically family, ran up to her.
"Your majesty!" He yelled still running up to her.
"Yes?"
"The council wishes to see you again"
Elsa almost said ok but remembered that she had to meet with Kristoff later."I'm sorry but could you please tell them that I won't be able to make it"
The servant looked at his mistress with confusion" unable to make it? But you've never missed a council meeting. May I ask what the occasion is that you are missing for?"
"I'm sorry but no" Elsa replied. She quickly turned away from him and stalked off but Kai stopped her again.
"I'm terribly sorry your majesty but you have to go. The council is very cross right now"
The queens once joyful expression died with her freedom of that day."I'm sorry Kristoff" she thought. "alright. I'm coming."
...
"So what was it that you planned for us to do today exactly?" asked Kristoff waiting in front of his door as Anna approached him.
"So I had a crazy thought" she started,"since I don't know you that well, I mean like really know you. I thought we could spend some time getting to know each other better."
"What do you mean you don't know me. We've known each other for like 5 months now or something."
The restating of her question made her roll her eyes," no I mean like...like your family or how you grew up or why your so attached to ice. You know just stuff like that."
"Um...ok? So how we gonna do this. I just start talking?"
"No. actually I was going to give you a tour of the castle and start there." she replied.
"So where to first"
"Let's just start walking" she finished. They started down the long corridor hand in hand.
...
"The arrival of the princes is only a week away and we have no preparation done!" A council member stated. "our queen will never find a suitor if they all think that arendell can not even plan and prepare properly!"
"I'm sure We'll have more than enough time to prepare" replied Elsa calmly, "it's a week away and we don't have that big of a ballroom."
"Even so!" said another member,"we should still be planning ahead. Have you even thought about who you might choose?"
"How could I choose if I haven't even met them yet?" Elsa replied as if it were obvious. She received a table full of sighs due to her comment.
"What?" The queen said firmly. "I won't marry them if I don't even know their personality."
"Sometimes a queen must choose based on the better for her kingdom. Sometimes love and personality just don't matter".
"It always matters!" Elsa yelled slamming her fists into the table. The air turned frosty as snow began to fall. All of the members' breaths could be seen in the space in front of them. Realizing what she had done she quickly melted it and cleared her throat. "this meeting is over." She then turned and stalked back to her office where she had all of last nights paperwork to finish.
