interesting, we never did hear much about what Merlin got up to in his childhood.

You know, that could explain why he /can't/ teleport in the series- because the first time he did it was under such traumatic circumstances, the ability was subconsciously suppressed along with the memory. Childhood traumas can have long lingering effects decades after the memory is lost to time.

I really liked the ending! Reveal fics are so common; it was nice to see something different. And I love reading fics where Merlin is really smart. And when he had a kind of hard childhood (cause it makes since). And I liked how Arthur was portrayed a lot. A lot, a lot. ANYWAY, keep up the good work :)

There are puzzles that only a special person can solve. Merlin is one of those puzzles.
