Have you abandoned it because you don't care anymore?
You should write that when Harry is forced to participate in the Triwizard Tournament, Lily and James come along with Harry from Asgard as well.
Dumbledore greets them with a façade of friendliness and tries to do a number of illegal magical attempts on Harry to get him under his thumb, but since both James and Lily are now Asgardians, they will threaten to call the Allfather and he will come down to Midgard and strip Dumbledore of his magic permanently since Odin is also the god of magic in Norse/Viking mythology, but Dumb-as-door doesn't believe them and brushes it all off as insolent nonsense.
Fumbling Fudge then comes along, wrongfully accusing James and Lily for being imposters and them teaching Harry dark magic, but they coldly rebuff him, saying he is nothing but an insecure, vain, and dishonest bastard who belongs in "the trash heap of the scum of the earth," adding that he cares next to nothing about the wellbeing of his country and countrymen who is willing to sell his soul to the Devil (i.e. Voldemort) out of fear so to save his own life and stay in power via bribes of filthy lucre from dark forces that are STILL loyal to the false-immortal so to be kept in their good graces.
Enraged, Fudge then in his arrogance, insults the existence of gods and goddesses, saying that they don't even exist, which is enough to bring Odin to Hogwarts via the Bifröst. The Allfather of Asgard gives the Minister for Magic a serious tongue-lashing, dressing down, and a taste of his own medicine, then strips the dishonest bureaucrat of his magic for his insolence against the existence of Asgard via his godly powers, which then leaves 3/4 of all of Slytherin House (students raised on the pureblood supremacy doctrine) utterly terrified of the King of Asgard, because now they have learned the hard way that their magic CAN be taken away from them by a higher being like Odin, forcing them to keep their mouths shut.
And Fleur Delacour should become interested in Harry now that he is an Asgardian, wanting to learn what he has learned from his time in Asgard. Later, she falls in love with him and Harry would ask his family to name her Lady Presumptive before their eventual marriage and she would become an Asgardian, too.

Great story and i do hope we see more to this story with the return of Harry Potter and what ever else ends up happening.
