Wow. I really feel myself wanting to punch Conan here. Good writing. First time I've had a strong emotional reaction from someone's death in a DCMK fanfic. Hakuba being dead in general makes me angry. Like, from a story perspective I can appreciate it, but emotionally i want to kick something.

...For my own peace of mind, I choose to believe that one of Hakuba's classmates is going to steal his corpse and engage in a little necromancy. (Hakuba has weird classmates.)

Oh that was super sad:( poor Hakuba stuck his nose where he shouldn't have and now he's gone! Hopefully shinichi will figure it out and maybe he will team up with KID. I guess I'll just have I wait... Good writing and characterization!
