This was a fun story.

I've read a fair number of stories like this, but I really like it. The awkwardness between Harry and Dudley, the way the cupboard under the stairs still haunts him, the way he keeps comparing Dudley's home to Privit Drive and fears for Holly's safety, and then the hint of reconciliation at the end - perfect. The whole bit with the Pepper-up was quite fun too.

Ah no, sso sad this finished. I really like this story, please carry on. This is brilliant!

The woman ….. was a little bit taller than Harry (not a particularly difficult feat, to be honest).
In the books he got taller but the actor was very short.

I would like Harry to have seen the little girl in the story. They got married a couple of years ago and she was arguing with her mother. I was wondering how old she was.

I saw the review from Venus914 and I was reminded of Snape. This can go on for generations. Harry does not have to get too involved but it is best not to carry grudges.

It upsets me when reading Harry forgive Dursleys fics especially if Dudley have a magical child.

With Harry's help, the child would be living the life of almost-royalty, considering who Harry is to the wizarding world. Now, i know the child is innocent but how could the parents and grandparents know and feel what Harry felt if they dont experience it firsthand. It's so easy to say "i understand" when people really dont unless they felt it themselves!

For example, i was just a simple accountant 15 years ago and now, im slated to inherit the small company when my mom retired. I havent talk to my cousin for 15 years too! Now that he wants to make up, why should i? He can use our "relationship as cousins" to solicit money from me for his hospital bills? I refuse to be used!

Dursley's kid would reap the benefit of being Harry's niece or nephew. If im in his situation, i wouldnt help. Id probably arranged an interview about how the Dursleys treated me so that the wizarding world will revile the child. It's no different from the Dursleys badmouthing Harry to the people of Privet Drive and all their friends. At least the kid wont go hungry. At Hogwarts, he and she can eat and im sure they can eat in the muggle world too. Harry grew up hungry.

What's to say that Dudley isnt just acting as uf he's remorseful? He doesnt have connection in the wizarding world and he wants Harry to look after his kid. Even his tiny brain realized that Harry is some sort of a hero even if he doesnt know how the extent of it and he wants that for his kid. He is very cunning in this and Harry is a fool for believing him.
