Thank you very much for this very nice story, which I really enjoyed reading :) I started it quite some time ago and don't remember why I stopped reading, but I found it among my bookmarks and was very happy to reread it.
I really loved the way you portrayed Elrond, and how slowly and unrushed their relationship evolves, also I was very relieved there was a happy ending and I could keep on reading their ongoing story in Valinor forever :) Too bad every good story has to come to an end ;)

Thank you so much for creating this piece of work. I stumbled across your story while i was serfing through the internet after the second movie of The Hobbit came out. Though I was only trying to find fanfics about Thranduil because I was awe struck by the Elevenking's beauty, this story would be just as beautiful and touching were it tells the meeting of any two souls that came to embrace each other. This is my third time rereading this and I just wanted to tell you how thankful I am that this exists.

God, I have no words for the sheer beauty of this story. Your writing just took my heart and squeezed; such a marvelous piece I have not read in some time... From the pairing, the characters themselves, to the wonderful, agonizing feeling of hope that permeated the whole story: perfection.
Thank you. I will definitely read more from you and hope (yes) that you will consider writing more pertaining this story; maybe more little snippets of Thranduil and Elrond's years in Valinor?
By the way... I also would not be opposed to reading more of their first time together, especially after what you wrote about Elrond on top...

Wow. Great fic! I have to say that I really loved the dynamic between Thranduil and Elrond. I really liked how you portrayed Elrond as the one who gives to others and Thranduil as the one who receives from others because in my opinion, that's what made them perfect for each other! Even though the fanfic was repetitive at times it really showed to what extent Thranduil was suffering. Great work!

As always very very well-written! You really showed Thranduil's inner demons and made the reader understand his character. I'm looking forward to the next chapter but I'm a little sad it is the last one... :-)

This is wonderful. I really liked Thranduil telling off Manwe. Also liked Thranduil and Elrond finally being together again and Thranduil both healing and being bored silly in Valinor.
It doesn't bother me that the Hobbits don't meet the ship or that you dislike Frodo. The last chapter works well the way it is, and putting in more characters might have complicated it a bit too much. Everyone has a right to like or dislike any character without getting yelled at for it.

Beautiful ending. Loved this fic from beginning to end! And what a fabulous end! But please, if you're going to change the story, send out a chapter announcing it. I bookmark the emails & it makes it easier on my mobile to find emails then going through the website to my 900 saved stories to find this one.
