This was one of the most adorable things I have ever read. I loved it a lot and I could totally see it as a real episode. I nearly died laughing when I got to the part where Helga purposes sabotages the dinner she made before she knew Arnold would be the one eating it. You have a real talent for writing everyone in character, especially the boarders.

I love it, this is the closest canon reaction Arnold gets and very believable. So dense, but so close and starts to consider something about Helga and she's still surprises him :)

This was great. I loved how Miriam was able to set aside (literally dump out) her smoothie and focus on spending time with her daughter. And I loved that lemon tart kiss!

Awe, Arnold is so sweet/thoughtful/smart yet so dense! I loved his grandpa in this and his advice it really fit his character so well. I loved how Helga matured and listened to Arnold's advice. This is the is a good start of a good friendship between them...they're only 9 so that's all it should be.

I know you wrote this ages ago but i just had to say how much i love this story. It was so so sweet especially the kiss they shared and when arnold tells helga "i thought you would like it spicy". The best AXH stories are like these...when they are still young and arnold realizing his true feelings for helga. Cute and happy ending too. :)
