Nicely dark, and an interesting exploration of 10 and 11's youth compared to War, and why. "It was like they'd reverted to adolescence. Is this what the war does to them?" was a dark and original take on those tow characters we love.

This is probably exactly what the Doctor would have been thinking. I grinned at "boy-band cute". Sounds very un-Doctor-Who-ish, but at the same time is actually a pretty accurate description. Love this!

Very nicely done, very introspective, very thought-provoking - especially about the instinct to meet fear with violence. And the constant chatter may be to avoid a silence in which one can hear one's own thoughts.
