FFAMasquerade2005 chapter 30 . 7/9/2016
Yay for Hood and Guy working together! Well this was an exciting chapter, I only wish your chapters were longer! I totally understand though it takes a lot of work to produce long chapters. For my Robin Hood fanfic I wrote, yes hand wrote, about 40 pages for one chapter. I typed it all up and edited the crap out of it and it ended up being about 20 someodd pages. I still had to break it down into sub chapters because I don't think anyone could sit there and read 20 pages of typed material via a computer screen in one sitting.
I really liked how you had her go to the gallows and hood be the executioner, very clever! Now comes the hard part, getting Elizabeth out with anyone knowing it was him. However, how the can the sheriff NOT still suspect Guy? I would think that Guy's place would be the first place the sheriff would look. Robins going to have to come back and help I think, maybe some sort of disguise is in order, or they hide her in an empty wine barrel and cart her out?
FFAMasquerade2005 chapter 27 . 7/9/2016
Well I was wrong, I really didn't think she was going to go to her mother. Well at least she wasn't harmed on her journey to get to her mother. Guy has to care where she went and what might have happened to her, I wouldn't be shocked if he had someone keeping tabs on her all this time. So now the question is after this three month period is it Elizabeth that goes back to Guy, or does Guy come to her?
FFAMasquerade2005 chapter 26 . 7/9/2016
Well we all knew that this day was coming. I have to say, i'm slightly disappointed in this chapter, I was really hoping for more drama. All he does is throw her out of the manor and into the rain? He has to be beyond pissed at her right now, just a little yelling and thats it? No chairs being flung about, things being smashed? Who does she go to I wonder, Robin or Marian, it wouldn't make sense for her to go to her mother after all this time. Marian would be a logical choice as she could have Elizabeth be a serving girl for her, a or ladies maid even. Robin is a little bit more of a last resort I would think, he lives in the woods with his gang, is a wanted outlaw, and is the furthest from Locksley manor.
FFAMasquerade2005 chapter 21 . 7/9/2016
Well at least he's TRYING to rectify the situation with Seth and Annie, although why he or any other man, can't take responsibility for his child I'll never understand.
I laughed when you had said Guy bought Elizabeth many things, including a horse! That's a little over the top for an apology, but then again Guy was simply doing what people tend to do with problems, throw money at it and it will go away. I'm surprised Elizabeth didn't reject the gifts and tell him to them stuff where the sun don't shine. I'm glad that other people still look out for her and care about her well being, such as Robin and Marian.
FFAMasquerade2005 chapter 19 . 7/9/2016
This is the darkest time in Guy's life, his lowest point, leaving his child to die in the woods. He didn't even have the decency to take it to an abby or some place else where it could be taken well cared of. I don't blame Elizabeth one bit for being angry with Guy, as Robin points out in season 1 episode 8 "Everything is a choice". So why Guy choose to abandon an infant, his infant, in the woods I don't think we will ever find out. I'm honestly surprised you didn't have Guy do more damage to Elizabeth in his fit of rage, she got off super easy. Although how Guy is going to keep her from speaking, who knows? Unless he keeps her locked in a hidden part of the house somewhere, like Mr. Rochester's first wife in Jane Eyre, she still has the chance to speak to Marian and maybe even Annie.
FFAMasquerade2005 chapter 17 . 7/9/2016
Aww man that's all we get? Nothing about how Allan A'Dale made everyone think he had the Turk Flu? Well things are heating up between Guy and Elizabeth now aren't they? This chapter leaves so much un answered!
FFAMasquerade2005 chapter 16 . 7/9/2016
Well that was different, I have a hard time picturing Guy showing any PDA with anyone and I don't recall if he even did so with Marian in the series, anyways it was nicely done. He seems like he would be similar to Tristan, from King Arthur, in that department (PDA wise). You didn't make it glaringly obvious, it was a subtle gesture that not many people would have picked up on, but Marian being the astute woman that she is did.
FFAMasquerade2005 chapter 15 . 7/9/2016
Ok I've refrained from reviewing up until now, I've been trying out different Guy fanfics today and after awhile I just can't read them anymore, they portray Guy as too out of character for me; however, yours seems to be more true to the way his character is portrayed in the series. So I am reviewing now, I have liked what is written so far. I guess that's a given since I'm writing this isn't it? I like that Elizabeth has just enough spunk to give Guy a little grief, but not enough that it's over the top. I'm curious how it will turn out when Guy finds out she is helping Robin, it can really only go one of two ways though can't it?
FFAMasquerade2005 chapter 7 . 7/14/2015
Alright 7 chapters in, I should probably review now...I've never read a GuyXOC story before, well any Guy story...I'm fairly intrigued..I wasn't sure what to expect to be honest, but so far I'm liking it...well one would hope after 7 chapters that I did like it. :)
AmethystStarr - MJLolanaK chapter 21 . 2/5/2015
I'm loving the way you write conflict. Superb job so far keep it up!
AmethystStarr - MJLolanaK chapter 8 . 2/5/2015
Great story so far. You've done well in not making too mushy and how Elizabeth is not quite a Mary Jane. Good job on your interpretation of Guy as well, you seemed to capture his character and the little nuances of Richard Armitage's performance in the role!
scipio96 chapter 14 . 1/6/2015
I do feel sorry for Guy since he's being played by Lizzie.. and in the show he's used by Marian. But at the same time, I totally understand why they're doing it. I guess I'm a little biased XD
scipio96 chapter 3 . 1/6/2015
I really like this story! :D :D :D
Dalonige Noquisi chapter 48 . 11/1/2014
Oh my goodness. That was the best Guy story I've ever read
Miss Sofie chapter 48 . 10/12/2014
Alright. I've got both good and bad stuff to say about this.
First of all. I liked it. I really liked the love story. I liked that it took some time. They didn't just fall for each other at first sight, but their feelings grew along the way, and the pace was sort of realistic.
I also loved how Elizabeth slowly, but surely, changed Guy's view on things. He went from being the bad Guy to being a better Guy (Ha ha... I can't stop writing that word as a name, now) who really tried to do the right thing, even if he didn't always know what the right thing was. He's sort of a coward when it comes to the sheriff, but hey! Who wouldn't be terrified of a man like the sheriff?
Anyway, I read this story in less than a week. I spent my nights reading, even though I should've been sleeping, because I just had to know what happened next. And then, like all of a sudden, the romantic love story ended - the hero and heroine got each other - and there were still loads of chapters to go. Oh well, I read on, believing that something would happen to drive them apart and in the end they would get each other, and we would all be happy. But no. You threw in a plot twist, which I sooooooooooo would've preferred to see in a sequel, which then wouldn't have been labeled with 'romance'. And then... You threw in another plot twist. And they still loved each other. To me, the story ended when they got married and they both knew they loved each other and wanted to be together for the rest of their lives. Everything from that moment on is a whole, new story. I know it relates to the first part, yes, but it's not what was promised from the beginning.
I still like the story, but I definitely preferred the first part. The second part... Meh. I probably would've liked it if it had been a sequel and if it hadn't taken me by surprise.
When that is said... You're really good at this, and you really should continue writing lots and lots of stories. I took a quick glance at some of your other stories, and they looked promising.
Oh, by the way, I love how you displayed their physical relationship. Not, like, sex or anything, but the way you described Guy's hand on Elizabeth's back, or Elizabeth's holding on to his shoulders. Stuff like that. Made it very... Alive. I don't know the right word in English. And speaking of words, you totally ruined the word "orbs" for me... Ha ha... What's wrong with "eyes"? Nah, just kidding. But you do tend to use the same terms a lot. But don't we all?! :)
Anyway, I hope I'm not being too hard on you, it's definitely not my intention to bring you down. Overall I liked the story very much. Otherwise I wouldn't have finished it. (To be honest, I still have four chapters to go, so I'll review my review after reading the last chapters and before posting it.)
But you DID do a really good job on this, and I would love for you to write stories for Spooks or something else Richard Armitage related. ;)
By the way, how did the sheriff survive Guy killing him the first time?

Okay, so I'm done reading the last chapters now. It was a fine ending, although I would've liked for the baby to be born. But I loved how you made Guy think to the future instead of the past in the end. So I forgive you for not letting the baby be born. ;)
