I really enjoyed this story. I'm just a little sad because I think I read all of the sequels before I read this one! Oops.

What happened to Langenscheidst?

Finally finished this today. What an excellent and intense story...I loved it! I can't wait to read your other HH stories. :)

I just finished reading this story, and it's sooo good! I loved all the twists and turns and surprises; I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I also really enjoyed the historical information you provided. And the bits of humor throughout really had me laughing! Things certainly looked grim for Hogan and the rest of the men there for a while, but I'm so glad the way everything turned out in the end. And now I understand your sequel better, and it makes me enjoy it all the more. (And the idea for the 1970's buddy cop movie is great! I'd watch it!)

Finishing your first big chaptered story is a big achievement so well done. I am a sucker for happy endings and you provided that. A large part of this felt like you were setting up for you next story so I reserve comments until I see it all fleshed out. Finally, I did like how you tied in the title with those final paragraphs.

Nice to see all the stories wrapped up. I was surprised to see that LeBeau left his beloved France, but it appears your goal was to keep the heroes together.

It was great that you were able to use real-life experiences in this story. and i can definitely see them all in a cop movie. Or for those of us above a certain age: perhaps part of the NBC Mystery Movie lineup! (If you arent familiar with the series, please look it up!)
