Beautifully written story! You wrote Ed's fear and indecision very well. I'm very impressed that Ed decided to forego the concealing garments in favor of not hiding his auto mail. It's one thing I love about the brothers, their solidarity.

I'm only like halfway through the story and I already said
"Oh...Oh that's horrible!" I mean, put him out of his misery? Really? That's super insulting, you know what, let me at them!

Nice job connecting Ed's choices to his consideration for Al.
