There are many fan fictions out there that cover this part of that episode, but you do it the best.

This is canon!they are both so in character with kensi doubting whether or not she should do this, deeks needing to clarify whether or not she wants him. The line about kensi playing with fire and wanting to burn was fantastic foreshadowing for a particular episode about an icy body of water as well as deeks hoping she won't hate him in the morning. And the part about hetty calling deeks in early makes a lot of sense and explains why he was there early. Finally, THAT SECOND PARAGRAPH WAS QUITE POSSIBLEY THE GREATEST DESCRIPTIVE PARAGRAPH I HAVE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF READING WITH MY EYEBALLS HONESTLY, I'M SO JEALOUS OF YOUR WAY WITH WORDS. Honestly. Perfection. No criticismOk sorry I know you wrote this a long while ago and you probably won't see this but I just wanted to share my

I seriously adore every single one of your Densi story. Im super late in reading them, even tho ive been a fan of them since the very beginning... but i love them. And even though we have now a deleted scene from that night, I think this fits them very very well. I love how you write them, they are never too OOC, or too corny.
