This is exactly how 3x08 should have been. They should have shown us Liv exploring the home and they making love again and Liv telling him that she love him again

OMG! I loved this! You did such a wonderful job describing the house, I could picture it all in my mind. I wish this would have happened on the show! That she would have gotten to explore his labor of love. *sigh* PLEASE continue it!

I think he had it built after his assasination too although some would argue that it was after Liv was in the hospital. Either way, its still pretty cool that he did that for her.

I would really love to read more about them sharing their lives and making memories in that house. On something else related to Vermont, I am curious as to when Fitz gave Liv that ring. I think thats when he or they, initially promised each other a Vermont future. I think its the reason why Fitz hates it when Liv refers to herself as a mistress because she knows, they have promised each other a future together. If you can include such a flashback, I would be forever greatful.

I'm all for the one-shot when Mellie finally realizes: a) that unlike her Olivia doesn't have to threaten, manipulate and lie to Fitz, to get or keep his love & attention; 2) that Fitz & Olivia love strongly even when they fight; 3) that they ALWAYS work for each other (never for their individual agendas);4) and that just like when he was dying he called to Olivia, he will always belong to her. I don't want her in their home, but I want her to get pictures of the palace he built for his queen, & for her to know that he built a home for their love even when they weren't together. I need her to acknowledge that while she commanded everything, every house, the staff, their entertainment everything and he just tagged along - but he is always fully present for Olivia. I can't wait for you to write Mellie finally coming out of her self-centered haze and looks at Olivia & Fitz individually and as a couple. I want her to just running game and get some clarity & honesty - and then, like she has repeated three times already, admit that Fitz was never in love with her, or loved her with his truth. Then she has to admit that she hid & lied to him so much (it took him 20 yrs. for him to work out, and for her to admit that she was in on the 'set up of their loving marriage' from the jump), she never really showed him her truth and Fitz loves THE TRUTH. She needs to admit that she may have cost herself his love - but she's not Olivia.

I like this. I think it should be a full story about them starting a life in Vermont and having kids and being happy and making jam! We would NEVER get that on the show so... A girl could dream right?! :)
