Cool chapter - always nice to see more of Shep's backstory, especially how we get to "just call me Shepard"

Wonderful chapter. Of course you know I love flashbacks and these were very well done. I really do miss Fourth Life. Maybe you could do a sequel ones day about a much older Ashara? I'd love to read that. Great work!

And happy sigh...yay more Ashara / Liara goodness ... This chapter was a perfect... Fill...i think is the best word to describe this...loving the fact that your able to fit in as much as you can about these two with little one shots like this and keep their story going...

And with the look into ashara's past and how she dealt with the loss of her family and how she used it to become who she turned into today Is a nice touch... she may have not saved everyone but she sure as hell tried...and now she is being rewarded with a perfect bondmate and lots of little blue children...and as always, looking forward to more

Love the Ashara story, so nice to have a revisit. Love the emotion and feeling you put into your writing...

Would love to see you do a whole series like this...the Ashara backstory and maybe the significant emotional 'behind the scenes' events over the course of the ME timeline... an Ashara counterpoint to The Other Side.

Nice little interlude in a quiet moment - it's always interesting to get a look at what surfaces in the character's minds when they pause to take a breath...

A very nice and sentimental chapter. I imagine it would be very hard for both of them to deal with all they had lost.

Ashara with the first woman she loved, losing her family, and such. Liara even more so, losing the connection she had with her mother before she chose her fait and went with Saren.

Wonderful work here! I of course love looks into character's pasts and while short I really liked Ashara and Liara's backstories. I'm a firm believer in the idea that seeing a character's history and whoever they were before a story is a phenomenal way to better understand them and develop them and you did a great job with it here. I almost wish we could have peeked into the past some more in Fourth Life which btw this chapter made me miss like crazy! Seriously we need a sequel! The fifth life! I need Ashara and Liara again. I also enjoyed seeing Benezia. Her relationship with Aethyta is something that always interested me so it's as fun to read about as it is to speculate and write about. And as always everyone felt in character and was a joy to read. Great work :)

That was great...it gave a really good insight on where they came from as individuals and some of the last memories of their home life.. Some good, some bad but it was who they were and what they had to deal with at the time and they can take those memories and what they being about, pain, and turn into something good, make new memories.

Now it's the two of them together as it should be and they can move forward or have moved forward with each other ...I know fourth life is done but to see it continued on here even if it's only a few more, with one shots is great.
