Gods this was amazing! I loved their first time together so damn much. I love that you took the time to explore how hard letting go and moving on is for Killian as well - he does not get enough credit and care for that. This was bloody great!

Wow - first I thought there will be Angst because of Neal but than the jealousy at the bar - very nice written / but it was quite too dramatic for me when Emma enters the ship - and I do not see them saying I LOVE U that "easily" - but nevertheless it was a great fiction, you could really feel the tension, could feel the emotions - loved it altogether

Emma's bad day got worse but then definitely took a turn for the better!

I loved her jealousy when she saw Hook and Ruby together. I can definitely see Emma being jealous like that given the circumstances.

Then when Emma unintentionally said the thing about Neal not being the problem and then didn't follow up with the right words which Hook took to mean that he was the problem. And then the argument in Hook's cabin. My shipper heart. But everything ended well. That was a steamy way to patch things up!

I love the jealousy of Ruby. And the wonderfully angst-producing failure to communicate between Killian and Emma. Killian was breaking my heart there, responding to Emma saying it's hard because she hasn't been with anyone for 12 years, talking about how it's been 300 years since he was in a relationship, but he wants to open up to her and has no idea what to do with himself because she doesn't seem to want that. That conversation really throws into stark contrast something I've always found fascinating about Killian, the way he has remained capable of opening his heart to love again, even in the face of rather tenuous hope from Emma.

But I'm glad Emma got herself together enough to admit how she really feels. Killian's response was actually kind of touching. And the way he didn't want her to touch him until after he got her off was sweet and just a little bit adorable. His disappointment afterwards because he'd wanted to do more for her was, too, if misguided. I liked Emma's response to that silly notion-that's what the rest of the night is for! Now you've done crazy desperate and hot, you can move on to slow.

The morning after was a nice change in tone, after all that high emotion. "We can just pick up where it left off." So funny!

This wasn't really my cup of tea – too much dramatic angst followed by too much intense smut – but I just wanted to leave a review to tell you that I really like how you addressed his side of things. I feel like a lot of authors don't go too deeply into that, because he was obviously the one to initiate the idea of a relationship so it's usually about Emma coming to grips with things instead. But you did a great job exploring both sides. :)
