I'm guessing that being locked outdoors on Xmas day for several hours in the snow would have led to Pneumonia which caused the ear infection?

I'm just emphasising the fact that it is winter in December because some places on this planet have Xmas in the summer - namely Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and most of South America.

I too am hard of hearing but not as severe as Harry seems to be. But I also rely on lip reading (or speech reading - which is the new PC term that should be used) in conversations.

Great story! Mostly because I empathise with Harry so much!
And I love the way you skip certain consonants to imitate what Harry sees and misses.

This is such a heart-wrenching, but also very heart-warming story! In short: It is everything that good and intense Hurt/Comfort should be. And I would *love* a sequel...

Wow! I really loved this story. Your idea of having Harry recover his oldest memories is so original and interesting. It stands well on its own, but a sequel would definitely be great if you ever get inspired to write one. :)

What I want to read more of are the many curses. Interval rained down on Albus over the last year. Great story

How Harry became deaf is actually very possible and has happened before. Strangely enough there may be some treatment to restore partial or total hearing in the mundane world.

Love this storyline. I was reading this and got to the bottom of the page and couldn't find a button to go to the next chapter but alas, there wasn't one! I'd love to read more of Harry's time at school and how he and Snape relate to each other and to Dumbledore and what happens with Voldemort Pretty please for more :)

Great story. You sympathize with the carecters and understand them. I'm a really big fan of your story's and you as a writer In general. You have this way, so that the reader understands everything the carecters do. And that is a very interesting and unique way to write, the way you write. This would be a fantastic 2 shot if you ever don't know what to write.
