Having had my own struggles with my hair, that second scene, the one with Gipsy and haircut, made me see red lol. I just wanted to shout at Mako and Jazmine, "If she doesn't want it cut, she doesn't have to get it cut!" insert some very bad names lol. Like... And that was totally the wrong way for Jazmine to begin the conversation! Just mention it, then ask what she'd like to do: cut her bangs or let them grow out. If Gispy chose to let them grow out, then get her some dang headbands. Buuut, I'm glad for how it ended up, I guess. I liked reading this chapter. I've just had my own struggles with my hair and feel passionately on the topic.
