I love the cautious friendship/respect that has developed between Charming and Hook this season, and this one shot is a nice tribute to that. You write both of them well and the dialogue rings true (which I think is sometimes the most challenging thing to write in-character). I really love how Hook is determined to help Emma gain her happiness - even if it isn't with him, and I was equally thrilled to see Charming seeming to think that happiness would be with Hook instead of Neal. I love that though her pirate will do what is best for her, he is going to make sure she sees he could be that best option. :) Great writing! |

Hook's feelings about David reminding him of his brother were spot on, and I always thought that was why he tried so hard to befriend David. Keep it up! :) |
