Interesting, the way you're writing your story. Even though Harry is interested in "Star Wars"the movie, he is associating magic with Jedi training but, has not yet claimed to himself as a Jedi. Interesting.

Ouch, I had hoped this was more complete than it is. Given it hasn't been updated since 2014, I'm not goin to hold out hope that there'll be a new chapter, but I do thank you for what's already here, and would love to see future updates.

This is actually better than the original. Smart, competent Harry is much better than plot armor Harry. The story goes into a lot of detail too, I found myself grinning a lot reading it. Sad it's unfinished. Although with the length of this story and how they're still in first year, to finish the story would take ages at this rate.

First three chapters are full of shopping and girls.

Gonna go ahead and call it with this chapter. There are a lot of interesting ideas here and I genuinely enjoyed a truly Ravenclaw Harry but it’s moving at a snails pace and Hermione is a bit too disloyal and annoying to keep reading more of her. She reacts to every unusual thing Harry does as if it was intentionally malicious or deceptive and Harry doesn’t even stand up for himself, just begging for “forgiveness” instead. The cycle has gotten a bit tired.

Harry has way too many things going on around him; way too many secrets that could damage his friendships. He doesn't seem to be developing any new or refining his "force" abilities other than the sensing.

Too angsty, and gets a bit too close to purple prose at times, certainly flowery in a way that just makes me cringe, like when Harry told Dumbledore about star wars, phrases such as "all the hope in the world" is just painful to read, especially coming from an 11 year old.
