Oh my friend, it WAS bone-chilling, all right; I'm glad I didn't read this fic at night time LOL ! But since it was a one-shot story, I was half-guessing that the events were the result of a head injury as well..

Definitely bone-chilling! Really good - I didn't realize until Tim woke up in the hospital that the voices were Tony and the team, not vengeful spirits - which I assume is the effect you hoped for.

Nice to see Tony expressing his concern and caring to Tim.

Excellent story, perfect for a little Samhain eve reading. I didn't see the twist coming (I must be getting rusty ;) ) and thought the "stay with us" was coming from the ghosts of the victims; that red eyed figure was beyond creepy!

Well done!

This begs for a sequel. Once Tim is out of the hospital and on the mend, the shadow should show up again.
This one was pretty darn good read.

Wonderful story, full of tension and terror. I was worried for a while that Tim would be lost to 'the other side' but the lure of life and friends was too strong...excellent bone-chiller!
