Very well done. I love the dynamic between these kids and I really love that you put so much thought into the reality of the journey rather than the sort of antics that the show focused on. it's hard to make the mundane interesting but you have pulled it off. Special mention to "travelers so tired from their journey that they took a wrong turn and were lost among the stars"- what lovely imagery. good job!

Really loved how this was written.

From the gentle pushing of Kataang, to the night terrors of boarcupines, to the tastes of new foods, to bedtime stories and keeping each other close ("Oh Sokka, just hold hands!"), you detailed these oneshots of the 1st season quite nicely.

Each book of Avatar was special in its own way. And they are all equally awesome, each having its own unique assets to present to its audience.
Season 3 was the darkest and most emotional.
Season 2 gave plenty of world-building and character development.
And Season 1 had its own air of childish innocence and narrowed companionship, which you have captured well in this story.

This is absolutely beautiful. I can't even tell you how many times I've reread it, and it gets me every time. How amazing, to describe their relationship as you have - in the moments, in the in-betweens, and in all the lessons and love that have gotten them to where they are. I love all of this so much. I could gush for pages, but I'll leave it at that.
I also . . . scene 6 reminds me of Sokka's, "Did we get captured again?" which made me smile.

I really loved your style in these short little scenes. Number five was my favorite, Katara's story seemed so child-like and yet so mature at the same time, such an interesting coping mechanism that seemed just like her.

This is so very well-written! I love your writing style.

I thought this was a very good story. You brought up a lot of minor, but very important points, and scenes, that we were never shown. You showed how the trio changed from three companions, to three friends, to a true family, and it was a very natural progression across these seven separate nights. There's tons of good things I could say about this story, but to keep it short I'll just say that it was a fantastic read, that I found it very enjoyable and a great story!
