Reviews for The Spy Who Came In from the Back Porch |

![]() ![]() ![]() Amanda placing on the back porch a saucer of milk for the overly cautious kitten, along with a plate of cookies for an overly cautious Federal Agent, tickled my funny bone big time. Billy Melrose is a happily married man and, knowing Stetson's back story, wants Lee to experience the same. He's a bona fide "Fiddler on the Roof" matchmaker! What a relief! The young ballerina is in love with a violinist from her own country. What a misstep! Amanda truly was out-of-bounds with what came across as an accusation. Now we can be absolutely certain that the calico kitten is a female. Why? She made an outright play for Lee's affections and snuggling on his lap! This was a fabulous story, enjoyed it immensely and, as thrilling as it was to see so many Agency personnel in the East Room, it saddens me there aren't any more of your stories. You are an excellent storyteller and if you ever write another, I will gladly read and review! |

![]() ![]() What a nice, sweet, romantic story. I could see the interactions in my mind as if I were actually watching the words on film. Thanks for sharing this. I wish it had been an actual episode. |
![]() ![]() After reading too many PWP (plot? What plot?) stories with too many spelling errors written by semi-literate high school students, it's a pure delight to see a story written by an adult for adults. Nice use of details, good characterization (especially Billy, Jeannie, and Ned). I loved Pyewacket. I liked Ned knowing more than he was supposed to, and him both a good counselor and a good friend. |

![]() ![]() ![]() Very excellent! Lovely romance with that still-unresolved-tension there too... I was madly pleased to see rivels in Amanda's soup. I've never heard anyone else refer to them... Lots of lovely detail. A lovely story. Thank you. |
