I just read this again for a 2nd time and I love it just as much as the 1st time. I adore the characterizations, the mix of angst, drama, friendship, familial love, and action. And I adore seeing Thorin be so paternal.

I picked up the usage of 'ass' correctly as in being a silly donkey. 1 for me! Throughly enjoying the story so far.

Galadriel probably darns socks or something equally mundane in her spare time. Something she doesn't need to think about to keep her hands busy while she contemplates the affairs of middle earth. This is of course when she's not pestering people about looking in her mirror!
