The story, however, was good.

Rather sexist, isn't it? Why are only men drafted into the aurors? Unlike in the non-magical world, where men are more powerful physically, in the magical world power, magical power, is more of a personal attribute, and not a gender-depending one. And they would double the number of recruits.

But: Scriugimor? Really? His name is frequently written wrong but that has to be one of the most cruel versions I've ever seen. Try Scrimgeour, please!

Why wouldn't Neville have the same capabilities like Harry? Harry is a student far below average with no additional training and no information about important things, ever. Neville can't be even more disadvantaged, can he? The only thing Harry has going for him is his luck. And even that is fickle. And Neville's a downtrodden loser already. Dumbledore just needs to expose Augusta to Death Eaters, so that he doesn't need to murder her himself and gets to keep his conscience clean *cough, cough* and voilà, Neville is ripe for the manipulating into a death whenever Dumbledore wants it.

I like the name Matthew Winter. Even British magicals aren't stupid enough to just overlook a James Evans or a Harold Jameson suddenly popping up in another country while Dumbledore has his ICW contacts.. Whenever I see a name like that I can just shake my head.

While this was a good story, you really should mark the pairings (H/G, H/DG, H/AG), at least in the description, so that people who don't like one of those pairings i.e. me, don't have to read a story they wind up greatly disliking, due to you putting Harry together with one of the last people he should wind up with.
