airunee chapter 1 . 6/24
I haven't read this before the edit so I'm a bit confused. Was he blind in his past life? How did he know where to go to save Kiyoshi?
Y chapter 13 . 6/18
Uncreative as hell
Ainur Run chapter 14 . 6/9
Heck, your story is just beautiful! I look forward to a new chapter, I like Haruki's manner of communication - its light and cheerful character. But Shouga is just sweet caramel, I love him ( • ᴗ • )
Forever In Oblivion chapter 6 . 4/22
Hello again! I was back to reread your fanfic, because it held really good memories for me, and it certainly hit me with nostalgia. One issue I'd like to mention...

"Domo" does not mean hello. It means "very", and depending on context, it can either be very much or very little.
HeilHydra chapter 14 . 1/12
I realize it’s been a while since the last update, but I just had to comment to show my support, and that readers are still here to show that support! Everything is so well-written that each character makes me feel various types of emotions one minute to the next. It’s like you hate them one minute, but also like them the next. I really like how your main OC is portrayed. He’s not perfect because of his own faults and biases, and I absolutely love that. I’m glad Haruka is there to change things for the better. Also, I have the urge to ship him with everyone so far, and is it bad I do so with Akashi haha. Haruka is an adorable character, and I’m glad he’s getting to building the trust with Haizaki. I wonder how future interactions with Kuroko and present KnB cast will go. I’m also excited to read what will happen in the future such as the memory loss after the death age issue, the rest of the middle school years, the high school years, etc. I really enjoyed reading this. Thank you so much!

Irokoutlol1 chapter 6 . 3/17/2019
the angst of the previous chapters felt too... i dont know. forced? it doesnt make sense. i find myself not liking your main character which sucks cuz i could feel his potential. i suppose my advice would be to better explain/convey the characters thought process because it feels like there is needless suffering. also, the forced repetitive use of japanese words is my other complaint. i understand the temptation, cuz i did it too on my first fanfic. but it disrupts dialogue and wakes up the reader from fiction world. honorifics are okay but the constant translations are annoying. I mean, why use the japanese word for huh with a long parenthesis translating it? it doesnt actually make the reader feel like they're hearinf the characters speak like in anime- instead it sounds forced and weird because no one does that in real life realistically. my advice would be to drop those- it isnt too much of a bother to write everything in english- and keep it mind not everyone is overly familar with japanese through anime- some people like dub. if you reread your work you'll see how awkward the back and forth and translations between japanese and english is. thats my construction critism- i hope u can see my points, though i probably didnt convey my words right cuz i suck at critizing others. i hope you improve and continue having fun writing!3 peace out
Xielle Sky chapter 14 . 1/14/2019
Oh my goodness! This fic is so awesome I binge read it all the way through 'till my eyes start to tear up because of lack of sleep. But it's all worth it!

All their interactions are so precious and I can't help but be emphatic to Haizaki with your portrayal. I love you for bringing this fic to life and I can't really wait for your future updates. Anyways, you're absolutely awesome and keep doing what you're doing while I wait for you to continue.

iRaine chapter 14 . 9/21/2018
Wow, this story has a gripping plotline, and more importantly, amazing character development. No one is perfect - Haruka, Seijuro, or Haizaki - and it's so clearly portrayed by their inner psychological conflicts. There is no fix-it-all cure to all their problems, and the dual-personality of Haruka himself is evidence of this.

He shifted from a sincere, caring older brother persona to an outwardly bubbly facade with a manipulative streak a mile wide, albeit with an incredibly compassionate and soft core with actions guided by good intentions. I didn't even notice when it happened, at least not fully, until the confrontation with Momoi and Haizaki. Momoi's perspective of her own situation and perception of Haruka's inner character was fascinating in how entirely real it was- because being an information broker isn't all just expertise in paper-research, but also interpersonal charm and deception, and a flair for manipulation. I love details like this, which show so much insight into a character and don't brush past the technicalities of how some of these things are done. All things come at a cost, and have very real consequences. It makes this story so much more realistic and relatable.

On that note, I love the development between Haruka and Haizaki. When given a choice, I will almost always prefer a character's redemption instead of bashing/one-dimensional villainy/or just overall stagnant character development. It's okay even if they aren't "redeemed" in the end, as long as their reasons for their actions are explained and facets of their humanity are shown alongside their darker sides. As Haruka was saying, Haizaki is a human too. He has his share of difficulties and had different life experiences that have shaped him into who he is. There is almost always a reason why people act the way they do, and some of the most heinous villains in both fiction and nonfiction have some of the most tragic pasts. I only ask that they be portrayed fairly, without one-sided judgements (unless it is for a specific purpose). Hence! I absolutely adore this story.

(Well, I also have to admit that I am one of the readers who have not watched/read KnB. And maybe Haizaki is super, duper terrible in canon. But, I absolutely adore blackkat's Orochimaru redemption stories (if you know Naruto), and generally love villain redemption stories in general.)

This may have dragged on a tad too long, but I just want to say that I really appreciate this story, with its looming edge of danger in every chapter (e.g. Sei's inner conflict) and beautifully written character development. I also have to say that I love Haruka's character, and that you have done an outstanding job of creating such a fun and quirky OC to fit in a completely new plot. It shouldn't have to be mentioned, really, but I appreciate that your plot is original and doesn't just follow canon, which some ff writers tend to default to. (Also, the incorporation of his previous life into this life was done excellently! I didn't have much interest at first, since past memories usually don't hold much purpose other than background information and often don't tie in with future plot. But you made made care about Kazu, empathize with him, and even look forward to his interactions with his team, who are basically OCs. That's incredibly hard to do, both in general and for me personally. Then you looped the whole thing together, and I was never more pleased.)

Thank you for sharing this incredible masterpiece with us! I look forward to more writing from you.
