Not a bad FF apart from several typo's, spelling errors and missing words.

It's a bit odd that Harry (an abused child) is being given the option of who to live with - that just seems strange. He's being treated like a little adult, not a nine year old. The medical info was very strange - signs of severe insomnia? I can see he'd have signs of malnutrition and dehydration, possibly Rickets or anemia.

It is an interesting beginning, but there is a distinct lack of emotion or reaction. He's invited to eat at the Great Hall, but eats by himself. He's sent to sleep in Gryffindor Tower by himself. Remus rescued him only to leave him on his own? I mean, being that it is Remus, I can believe that - he's never been good to Harry. Teaching him one spell doesn't make up for a lifetime of ignoring him.

Hello dear author. Behold, for I come to you with feedback. The fic's good. But. That's it. Just good. And here is why.
Firstly, he's a 10-year-old boy who has been through domestic abuse, and he calls Sirius Siri and Daddy? Not bloody likely. He's a 10 for Merlins sake, not 5! Secondly, how cold the penseve contain memories of how his mum and dad died? Who placed them there? Dead people can't do that. Thirdly, why is Harry jumping from acting like 5-year-old to acting like a 20-year-old? He just takes control of the situation how adults would, and acts like an adult but then later, he is talking to Sirius like a 5-year-old agin. Moreover, why is Sirius not calling Remus Moony and James Prongs? It just seems unlikely that they wouldn't call each other how they had for years. It's not like I hate the story or anything, no, I am just giving you, dear author, my feedback. Let's just say that this story isn't my cup of tea. They said they'd talk with their parents 3 chapters ago and frequently go overnight without this type of behavior though? :-/

I can't help but think he wouldn't choose the Weasleys due to a lack of trusting in children he lives with. I like how Sirius sees him, though I feel like Sirius would've found a way to help him somewhat. Maybe you have a built-in reaso/explanation later on. I like the story so far.

Great story! I like that you are giving Harry and Sirius a family and lots of people who care about him. Just a small point though, they don't celebrate Thanksgiving in England.

Liked the story, but that's a heck of a cliffhanger!

Interesting fic, I didn't like this the first time I read this between the odd timeline with Sirius walking free albeit a fugitive while Harry is so young, and Brits celebrating Thanksgiving which was supposedly started by the American colonists as a combination harvest festival and thank you to the native for the food that helped them survive that first winter and new farming techniques. But at least a year later it reads a little better, on to the sequel then...
