d.fickees chapter 11 . 5/18
I like the way that the functioning of their buisness relationship mirrors the way their personal relationship goes. Great chapter!
d.fickees chapter 10 . 5/18
Good follow-up, interesting developments. Peeta's reaction never occured to me at all. Really enjoying where this goes
d.fickees chapter 9 . 5/18
Aw, man. I so wanted everything to work out so wondefully happy but that wouldn't be right, and this is. Very well-written
d.fickees chapter 8 . 5/18
Oh mab. I didn't notice the title till the end- a nice relazing bit of normalcy, or as close as they get to it, then immediately that threat of confrontation looming. great chapter!
d.fickees chapter 7 . 5/18
Dang. Great stuf! I love the way its been building to this conflict and then finally popped off. Great showing of the motivations
d.fickees chapter 6 . 5/18
why are your characters emotions and actions so inherently realistic and believable it is too good. Great chapter!
d.fickees chapter 5 . 5/18
Great chapter! Haymitch having to confront a family is such a good conflict. And a mother whose starting to realize her son may have strayed... very intriguing
d.fickees chapter 4 . 5/18
Interesting! Very good chapter. The implication that everyone else knows about Gale is devestatinh. You write the awkward dialogue of people working through things so well!
d.fickees chapter 3 . 5/18
I never thought of the potential issue with Katniss reconnecting with the hawthornes. Talk about prickly. Very interesting thought process with Haymitch balancing how drunk he was
d.fickees chapter 2 . 11/29/2019
Interesting! I like the depiction of the rebuilding. It makes sense how they're going about it, and the casual incompetence of the new government in assigning aid is so accurate to reality it's almost not funny. The edge in everything Gale does and says is well played here as well.

I'm hopeful to see where a more optimistic Haymitch goes, and what his role becomes with Plutarch. Who, it sounds like has his own troubles.
d.fickees chapter 1 . 11/29/2019
So good! the way Haymitch's descent into alcohol at night is desribed is so smooth. It puts me right in there with it. You can understand his mindset so well

The goose waking him up had me rolling! And it sounds to me like Hazelle has a crush, whether she knows it or not
