a wonderful ending to a beautiful story!

I miss this fanfic so I'm rereading this again...I am also fan of Aragorn fanfic more than Legolas...and it is so hard to find a good Aragornxoc (I prefer not to read a canon relationship because it is already happen anyway) and your fic is good and beautifuly written but I notice that your last update is 4 years ago...I understand life can be busy hehe...but I hope someday you will update this gem again...thank you

I can barely remember the LoTR Folsom’s since I saw them as a kid so this entire story felt like a new experience and it was great! I’d also be interested in that GoT fic too~! Also hoping that the latest of the chapters you wanted to write for this aren’t completely dead and will have a chance to be seen. Someday. Ehehe.

I didn't review previous chapters, so I am going to comment everything now.
From your writing it was specially good all the action parts, it was easy to follow, exciting and you never knew really in what condition Danielle would walk out of battle. And in the issue of battles, it was believable how Danielle improved progressively in her battle skills, and made plenty of mistakes when she was inexperienced, in Amon hen, like following Frodo and Boromir without all her weapons. Yet it was clear that she was talented enough to be able to survive all those battles while many experienced soldiers failed.
Also I liked how the other characters where believable withing the Tolkien universe, except on how they speak. I am not a native english speaker, but I did notice a high amount of slang and modern expressions that I don't feel that they would be spoken in a -translated- westron in the 3rd age of middle earth. Yet I know it's difficult to write in an old fashion or just different to the style we naturally use the language.
I would have really liked to read about how she manages to be a helpful queen and apply her knowledge in middle earth. Since it was mentioned her speciality was in the modern world I was thinking about how she could apply her skills in middle earth. I was thinking that it would be very difficult to do a census without modern technology. Even today census are expensive too. I was thinking in the amount of people and parchment needed to make the interviews, and then to organize the information, besides you need plenty of people who can read to make the interviews. All that it would be difficult and expensive to do, specially after a war, but also the moment it is very significant to improve the living conditions of the gondorians, and avoid further -indirect- war casualties due to famine or unsanitary conditions caused by the war circumstances.

I have to say, this is a truely impressive story. Not that many Aragorn/oc stories out there.
I really hope you will finish this story someday, I feel like there is still a lot Danielle and Aragorn should let us experience together with them :)

There honestly aren't that many good Aragorn/oc stories out there, and I really really do hope that one day you will finish this story how you want to. I found this story years ago and only recently came back to it and I've found I love it even more. Even if it never gets finished I will probably still go back and read it because it is that good. I thank you for taking the time to write this story, as I and many other people much appreciate the effort it must have taken to get it to where it is now:)

I wanted to thank you again for sharing your wonderful writing with us. I first read this story several years ago and fell completely in love with it. It keeps popping into my head every couple of months or so and I have to read it all over again.
I do understand that life gets in the way and inspiration might vanish for certain things and I just wanted to let you know that I'm very grateful for being able to read this story at all. And should you ever get back in the mood to continue this story I'll be estatic and there to read it - even if that's in 5 years or more.

I know this happened in the film, but you need to explain how they went from riding horses to being on foot. Where did their horses go?

I find it so unfair that women have the "right" to fight but they don't have to while men are forced to.

I kinda hate Danielle in this chapter. Why woulf she ask why someone can't fight in a battle because she was vorn with breast when she should be asking why are boys forced to battle when they have dicks? And maybe Theoden just doesnmt want to lose his precious niece when he has already lost his son. Urgh, Danielle is so... urgh...

Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful story. I really had an amazing time reading it. The pacing was just right for me and you really made an effort in developing your character. She really felt human. Her fears, her feelings, her reactions seemed justifiable especially for someone who was suddenly thrown into a world she knew nothing about. The romance part developed quite naturally. Though it would be nice to look into Aragorn's thoughts while he was developing his feelings for her. Maybe just a few snippets would do. Nevertheless, it was good and it didn't seem forced. Overall, it was an impressive work and I would love to read more of your stories in the future.
