The first time I read this I thought that Cas wasn't very smart when he took Sam without telling Dean. It was bad enough that Cas didn't let Dean know that Sam would be leaving with him, but to bring Sam back in the condition he did was idiotic and portrayed a death wish. You portrayed Dean's fear of something evil taking Sam from him once again very accurately. It was a nice buildup to Sam's reveal about what Dr. Cooper did to him to cause so much fear. I also enjoyed the way you showed that Cas knew he had done something wrong, but only after Dean got angry with him. Very cute story.

Well written, humorous story (albeit with a somewhat dark undertone), although I did squirm at how cross Dean was getting with Castiel - poor angel!

As Dean said: no one wants a pissed-off big brother on their tail!

Supernatural Fanfiction Monthly Awards Review: This was great! Lots of very natural, flowing dialogue and your characters were spot on. I loved Dean's interpretation of exposure therapy and I think your skill with humor came from what the dialogue he and Castiel shared implied. It had me laughing for sure. Poor Sam though, you used Dean's seriousness to highlight the fact that, humorous or not, Sam really doesn't like clowns.

The use of a proper noun (with capitalization) for "Angel" threw me for a bit at the beginning; if you were going to use it as a proper noun, by proxy "demons" would have to be capitalized as well. I'm only pointing this out because I couldn't find much constructive criticism to give. I loved the fluidity and natural feeling of your dialogue, and I think that's what really made this story special. Well done!

Loved the ending. Also loved the bit about 'I saw a bakery on the way here. Do you want some pie?' delivered in Cas' gravelly voice.

That was nice. Light and sweet. And I just love the way you do Big Brother Dean.

I loved this story! Hilarious, original, funny but sad at the same time! I can not stop thinking about the poor Sammy and his fear of clowns. I can not wait to read the second half and the way Dean would pay the doctor (and why not Castiel too) have gotten with her little brother! I love Dean overprotective plan is when I like the chapters of the series and everything I read is about that and the injuries to Sam

Cas just doesn't seem to learn that it's not good to mess with Sam. Although, since he got away with it the first couple of times, it's easy to see why he doesn't learn :) Not sure who's in for a worse time, though, Cas or the therapist. :)

I'm totally with Dean on this one. I actually have a severe clown phobia. I have as long as I can remember. I've never seen either clown episode on the show because I get so freaked out with clowns. The whole idea of sharing person space with a couple clowns actually makes me ahead Dean. Kill the good doctor. Oh yeah beat the crap out of Cas. Excellent Job!
