It will be interesting when Kate and Jim will talk. I like how Alexis made Kate better. At least Kate knows that Rick does love her. Rick was a little over the top with Martha. But this is Martha, after all.

I loved how Rick's discussion of bringing Alexis into a war zone with his Mother was a topic of much disagreement. Even Alexis weighed in on how disruptive they were becoming. I loved how Kate got to meet Alexis. I loved Alexis' child gesture of kissing her wound to make be better. Too Cute. Please continue.

Just found this story ... well, rather I just decided to read it after avoiding it on the Castle Fanfic page for longer than I care to admit. Most of the time, AUs don't really appeal to me, but I'm a military history buff and this one just wouldn't leave me alone so I decided to take a little peak to see what it was all about. I only skimmed it so I can't really give an accurate review at this time, but I wanted to let you know that you've snagged my attention and I fully intend to go back and read all of it. I did see enough to know that you've captured the time period (expressions, manners, language) and that's what has me wanting to read the rest. Semper Fi and I'll be in touch.

I have really enjoyed this story so far; I really like the way you have recast the Castle characters in the context of WWII. Band of Brothers was a favorite of mine and I read some of the memoirs that inspired it; I like the elements you have taken from that and woven into your own story. Keep it up, I hope you will update soon.

No doubt in my mind Lt. Winters should have received the Medal of Honor for his incredible actions on D-Day and the first few days after. A quiet giant among big men.

I'm a big WW II history buff, and seeing your note about not knowing where to take this story, I thought I would read it. There is a slim chance I will have an idea or two for you to consider after I get to where the story awaits further direction.

One minor point of detail, the third flight crew member of a C-47 crew was a flight engineer/load master/jump master. They did not carry Warrant Officer Rank, they were Sergeants, and occasionally Corporals.

I've read your stories before and I know your attention to detail, so thought you might want to know. But ... hmmmmm I need to finish the story so far ... I might just have come up with an idea for a new path that you may like. I will email you through fanfiction, before the episode airs tonight.

Loving this story so far! It's so cool to see who they would be and what role they would play in the 1940s... Maybe during her time at the hospital we could also see some bonding between Beckett and Nurse Parish? Just a thought ;)
