OMG! You ripped my heart out! This was simply heartbreaking! I have just finished reading 'Race against Time' and Illusions, but for some reason I couldn't review... So I'll do it here Both fics were just amaizing! Incredible! You have a great talent in manipulating the reader! I read the first fic in 48 hours, and you had me high on adrenaline the whole time! I had more difficulties with the second one because it sort of hit too close to home, but I still loved reading it! Though I can't find the bonus chapters you were talking about... Could you maybe put them on ? I love the evolution of the relationship between Fili and Kili, but I think I love Thorin's part in it even more And there wasn't enough of parental-Thorin in the second part, though I guess it makes sense as Illusions is much more about Kili's independance... Another came to my mind: I realised that you made Kili (or Fili)'s poney survive the whole time Isn't it a bit long ? I'll just assume that they are special magical poneys

After re-reading the bit where he passes his hand over Fili's eyes I suddenly got tears in mine. Beautiful!

It is literally 3 in the morning and I'm crying ridiculously hard over this... I TOLD MYSELF THIS WAS A BAD DECISION ERYKAH THIS WAS A BAD IDEA and I'm shaking and crying (stupid allergies because allergies totally exist in winter in Canada) I don't even know what I'm saying anymore. I am emotionally compromised. Thorn closing fili's eyes... Please just stab me in the face and be done with it you evil human bean in fact I would not be surprised if it was you who poisoned Fili. Well that was certainly unexpected. I hadn't really seen the genre, but that doesn't really matter.

It started off so nice and rather sweet with Thorin taking care of his nephews, and Fili being worried when he couldn't find Kili. Then Dwalin came and started talking and it all went downhill. I don't really need my feels all that much. It was bittersweet the heirs of Durin resting in eternal peace together.

God, this story made me feel so damn depressed. It's cute (I think), yet sad. In other words, it's fucking awesome!

*Gasp!* FILI! KILI! THORIN! KILI! /3 ;-( (Kili's my favorite dwarf.) Damn this is deep, but in a good way.

Slightly confusing for me, but I think I get it. Fili, Kili, and Thorin are sleeping together peacefully. Forever.

Oh the angst in this one. Truly the most bittersweet thing I have ever read. Sweet for the love Thorin remembers giving them as dwarflings and bitter that he only remembers it after they are dead.
