Benny was a deliciously evil character & Dean was so perfectly Dean. Love Cabot, Gran and Skylar (hopefully we'll b getting a whole heap more of them all).

Finally got to finish this one and I just LOVED the last two chapters...Granny Fay is priceless and I loved all the warmth of the family's interactions with each other and Sam and Dean. And thank goodness for a bit of magical healing for Sam. I was wondering how you were gonna get him through it. And all the emotional pain and angst and stuff all spilling out at the end was just amazing. Great job!

Finally was able to finish the story. It was a really good. I liked it a lot. Looking forward to your next story.

Wow! Got this far this morning and just...wow! Brutal! Never mind evil!Benny! Remind me never to get on YOUR bad side, LOL! The whole setup with the metal chair and the sun and the mirrors and the ... man, it's amazing Sam survived that. What an incredible torture scenario...and Dean finding him like that...OMG.

And then to move to the metal box outside...yeah, I kinda figured Sammy wasn't in there because I really don't think even a Winchester could have survived that, but moving on to burying him alive and SO painfully contorted like that...I can't imagine what agony he must have been in, never mind the terror. Just...wow. Incredibly, sadistically awesome! Loved evil!Benny and had absolutely NO problem getting into his character being like that. It really IS exactly what I wanted to see when he first appeared and REALLY wanted him to be bad.

I can see where Sam would be holding everything inside again, and not want to talk to Dean about any of it. After thirty years, I think Dean can afford to be more lax on the chick-flick rule now. lol With all that Sam has been through recently especially. I'm glad Dean woke up when he did, and that he was able to be there for Sam, and let Sam express himself in the way he needed to. They should consider this a new beginning. :)

Wonderful chapter. I love that you took the time to write about the aftermath of such horrific emotional damage. The repair between the boys is so important to the story, not just the injury and saving. Not sure if this makes sense?

This was such a good story. I love Bryan and hope he will be back.

AWESOME! I totally didn't expect to see an update and I must say, this was just phenomenal! I loved it! Sam breaking down, Dean and his caring side...guh! I'm sobbing right now too! Kudos on an outstanding job yet again!
