This feels like both a warning and a curse. It speaks to me and tells me I need to surpass my upbringing, whether it had been good or bad, and teach my children to be morally and ethically superior to even my own perceptions of what it means to be right and good.
Doing otherwise would be to coast through life on the laurels and coat tails of all those who went before them and sink into the quagmire of soulless electronic communication with the other seven people seated at the supper table.

...The summary of this reminds me of Archer from Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works.
