I think this story is wonderfully written. I think the way you capture the reasons for Rumple, Cora, and Regina's actions were on point. Love love love it!

I have been meaning to leave a review since you published this story. Such a great idea to have these 3 have a "this is your life" moment to determine where they will go in the after life. :-). My favorite part was Emma being the one to wake up Regina and their cute, flirty banter that transpired. Very enjoyable.

Uuuugh! I immensely dislike Henry Sr. He is as weak as Henry Jr. is annoying, grrr!
I have always thought two things, first of all, that the time would come for Regina to feel very, very bad for doing what she did in the name of Daniel, who would've obviously not be pleased at all at what she did and who she became.
And second, even though Cora and Rumpel did play a crucial part in her becoming the Evil Queen, her choices where her own and she'd never pretended otherwise. I mean, I think she feels justified because life has failed her so many times, but I don't think she actively blames either of them. Just Snow, hehe.
Thanks for sharing, I love that Regina fets a second chance and that you point that everything she does, whoever misguided, she does for love :)
Btw, I sang the song through the whole fic, hehe. I'm still singing it, can¡t get it out of my head now.

I feel like this fic is wish fulfillment for me. I've always wondered what Daniel would say had he seen the deeds Regina has committed and her justifications for them. Having Daniel always with her was the perfect touch I needed and my new head canon. Adding Swan Queen to this story couldn't have been more perfect. It all intertwined beautifully and I'm so grateful to you for having written it.

Great story. Glad to see what you did. Fantastic really. Liked how things went down with Cora and Rumpelstiltskin. Plus Cora ending up in Never Neverland is appropriate since it does leave things open for her to meet up with them again down the line. Great inclusion of so many characters. Daniel especially. Keep up the writing.

You already know how much I love this story, but I saved my favourite part to tell you here. I absolutely adored how Daniel went to kiss Regina and it went on that it was Emma who woke her up. I thought that was absolutely genius. Thank you for the story!

Wonderful. And "What I did for Love" is the perfect song and title for this. I have always felt that Rumple's deeds were glossed over while Regina is always seen as the bad guy. I wish the show would give us this! And have Henry stop being such a bitch.

Holy WOW. This was BEAUTIFUL and heartbreaking all at the same time. The images of Regina doing things out of love - especially the first part about Claude's family - were superb, and her interaction in the end with Emma was hilarious, healing, and happy-making all at the same time. This was one of the most beautiful stories ever. I've written redemptions for Cora and company, but I've never read them, and especially not in this creative and introspective way. I'm so thrilled you've done this. Wow. Thank you! :)

It was serious the whole way through, I couldn't stop reading and then I came to the end where the Emma Regina part right brought me to tears laughing.

Loved it! I think you nailed all the character depictions. And of course I'm a sucker for a happy ending!
