I do believe this is my favorite Vastra/Jenny story i’ve read yet. I love the way you write them, and their meeting and the way their relationship develops up to the end feels so real to me. I’m happy with the way you fit everything into canon, too – i’m not personally a big fan of the Eleventh Doctor, so i love your idea that they knew Nine and Ten as well. You capture each personality of the Doctor, and it just makes me really happy to see. I especially like his reaction to finding out Jenny and Vastra are a couple.
I must say i’m very amused by the idea of Vastra going to Japan to get their katana, too. I keep imagining people’s reactions to her: “This is the Meiji era! We can’t be seeing kappa anymore!”
